Merino Wool Hiking Socks for Women Thermal Winter Warm Boot Work Cushion Socks 5 Pairs

I bought these for my son and I for a trip to Iceland and they were fantastic they are thick enough to feel comfortable and Squishy without being overly thick and making shoes uncomfortable, I think they're pretty waterproof because my feet did not get wet despite every other part of my body being wet . They are warm enough to prevent against the cold but I don't get hot in fact I even use them when I work out or go hiking. I have worn them in a multitude of situations and have not yet been in a situation where I had wished I had chosen something different . My husband started stealing them so I had to buy some for him so now all of us have the same socks. If anything that's the biggest problem is that we can't tell our socks apart anymore because we all have these in a multitude of colors. It literally never thought I'd ever be excited about socks but here we are.

These socks are great! I fell in love with wool socks over the summer when I bought a very expensive pair at REI while trying on new hiking boots. I immediately wanted several pairs, but was not about to pay $23 a pair, which is what the going price for the socks there was. I found another brand (which had boring colors) on amazon that were quite good, and I like as well. These came up in my feed and I thought the colors looked fun, so took a chance on them for the price, and i am so glad I did. They are thicker than cotton socks, but not so thick that they make shoes tight. No annoying seams that rub anywhere. They are soft and cozy, and do not itch at all. The colors are good, and they have worn several days in a row with just airing the out at night- and didn't get stinky. They wash well- but I do hang all my wool socks to dry. The colors were colorfast and I have not seen any pilling just yet. They have kept my feet nice and warm the last week when our weather started turning colder, and my feet have not gotten sweaty at all. For the cost, they are great! Much better than my plain cotton socks, without the big price tag of some of the other brands.

Love these socks! So soft and comfortable. When it is cold they are my "go to" socks to wear. I bought them to wear with hiking/walking shoes when traveling. There is a lot of walking both outside and inside on many traveling adventures. They are not hot on my feet even when the weather is warmer. There is light compression in the socks, which feels so good on my feet. Great all around socks.

These socks are the absolute BEST! I've been wearing them exclusively for two years now and threw away all my other socks and have ordered at least 4 or 5 packs of these. I love how squishy they are, they don't slide down, they're not tight around the calf, AND THEY'RE SEAMLESS. If you hate seams across the toes as much as I do, these socks are perfect for you The length is perfect, the bottoms are thicker and squishier which is nice if youre on your feet a lot. They hold up VERY WELL. The socks in my review photo are two years old. They haven't shrank, stretched, or developed any holes. The only "issue" is that they are wool so they do pill up a bit. But that is easily solved by using an electric sweater shaved every few washes. And to top it all off, they're versatile. They are warm enough in the winter but breathable enough to wear in the summer. I wear them year round!

I’m changing my review to 4* because despite the wonderful socks, I ordered a pair for my husband and first order was the completely wrong set (color, height, size), returned for replacement, second order only included 3 pairs of the 5. Why is this so hard??? These socks are the bomb. They are so cozy, so warm, perfect thickness (a little too thick for one of my boots), high merino wool content, the top stays up but doesn't bind (I have issues with the top of socks being tight), and the beautiful colors are true to the picture. I just love them. I've slept in them a few times when it was really cold. They are a little slippery on hardwood, more so that normal athletic socks, so be aware. I gave my daughter a pair (I didn't tell her I had 4 more though), and she messaged me that they were her favorite socks she's ever put on her feet. That is a true compliment!! Truly, these are cute, warm, and so far high quality and wash well. Absolutely love them in every way. And just under $20 for FIVE PAIRS?!? Unheard of. That's one pair of Smartwools and I like these better (Smartwools often bind at the top). I just bought another set of the colorful ones for my daughter for a little Valentine's Day gift (I'll reclaim the gray pair)--though they will arrive late that is ok--and two sets of the men's green multi-color ones for my husband and son. I think they will all be excited to receive these. I'm definitely excited to give them!

These are absolutely comfortable; light weight for wool. Living in Florida, I only usually wear socks for work or working out, socks are not a big part of my wardrobe. I purchased these for a trip to Colorado in March. They are so soft and breathable while keeping my feet warm but not overheated. I love the colors.

I wanted some warm socks for my trip to Scotland in April. These were perfect. They were comfortable & warm and kept my feet dry. I don’t like my socks too tight over my toes and these socks did not bind around my toes or ankles. They also washed up well. I definitely recommend them.

These socks are perfect for cold winter days. They are thick and soft. I usually wear them around the house because they are too thick to wear with most of my shoes. I can wear them with slip ons, but not sneakers. Good buy.
