Nice to see this item available.
The ANT protocol is used in many heartbeat monitor straps to deliver a signal to a receiver such as a pulse monitor wrist band sports watch. Unfortunately, the brand of chest band that I have is an older proprietary version of this protocol, so this didn't work in my particular case. Fortunately, most newer devices use a non-proprietary version of this protocol and this item will allow you to receive and display the signals on your monitor, smart phone, or tablet. In my experience it is very unusual to find this kind of device and it's nice to see that a manufacturer has made this available.

This does require drivers
Your trainer software more than likely includes this driver but it won't work out of the box. The standard method of googling the hardware ID won't work because this is the older ANTUSB Stick 2 chip set which hasn't gotten a driver update since 2012. As other have mentioned you can find a working driver set from Wahoo. Search for Wahoo ANT+ driver and it will get you up and going.I was hoping to use this with Flux or another open source software but I wasn't able to get it working so I went to Bluetooth. I may need to troubleshoot more.

Plug and play!
I have a Tacx Neo 2t and have been using TR primarily as my workout player as well as my training calendar. I quickly found out that my trainer only allows one BT connection at a time, so I was no longer able to Zwift while running TR. This little dongle fixed all of that for me. Plug it in and Zwift was able to hook up to the Ant+ connection instantly. Got Power, cadence and HR.I have not tried controlling the trainer through it. I hear that does not work, but I don't need that feature.Connecting to MacOS was instant. Simply plug it in and it was recognized. I did use a short USB extension becuase my trainer is about 6 feet from my computer and I understand Ant+ has a pretty limited range. I have't tried it without.

Connected and worked. Plug and Play.
I plugged this into my computer with Zwift running and it detected the dongle right away. I used my Garmin HRM Pro+ heart rate strap and it kept consistent connection. In the beginning, I noticed it didn't show the HR when I was in the welcome screen, but I think this was zwift. I rebooted and then everything worked fine, so chock it up as maybe a Windows glitch. But to get you up and running using your ANT+ devices on your computer, this is a pretty easy decision.

You need this if you want to use your computer to train with smart trainers
smart trainers normally support both Ant+ and Bluetooth, but no computers have ANt+ support. If you want to use your computer to run the training apps and need ANT+ protocol, this one is for you.It works great!

Worked with Zwift on PC.
I tested with Zwift on PC. Dongle looks identical to Garmin unit i have. I had no problems finding equipment or gear in app. There was no other software i had to install to use adapter. Tested with several pieces of ant+ gear. Heart rate, cadence, Tempe and machine data.

Not bad
I plugged this into my desktop computer and I have my trainer set up a little over 5 feet away from the dongle. I have a Saris H3 and I use ANT+FEC. Everything seems to work so far!A few minor quirks.1. If you're using Windows you'll need to download drivers from Wahoo.2. My connection seems to be a bit unstable for the first 3-5 minutes of the ride. I'll be pedaling and pedaling and all of a sudden the program will read that I'm producing 0 watts. Maybe it's MyWhoosh maybe it's the dongle.

Great for older powermeters
If your power meter doesn’t transmit on BT then this will help you going with any indoor riding service you want to run in your laptop.
