The meter arrived well packed in a heavy cardboard box , good enough to allow storage and included a cloth carrying bag. Good attention to detail this and boded well.Worked immediately and was pre calibrated. It appears robust, simplistic to use and no prongs to damage plaster. I tried it on dry walls and then was horrified to see the reading on a repaired damp wool. We will now monitor readings next week to see if our repair works but I have no doubt that this device works.I would recommend.

The media could not be loaded.  I was impressed how quick detected dump on my floors. Also because its using no invasive detection, does not damage, eall paitings, or scratches the floors planks. Good toy to have around for wood, bricks, walls, etc. Recommended

Used to check motorhome damp.Picked up false readings as it scans too deep and picks up the aluminium exterior.Good tool for buildings.

I really like this. Nothing at all to fault. It's even great with battery life. Very simple to get readings, you soon get the hang of it just press the button to go through the material modes then place it on the surface you wish to test keeping your fingers on the green grips. if you press HOLD all that does is freeze the display reading which can be useful if you're making notes or sharing a reading with someone. Press HOLD again and it's back in normal measuring mode. This is a very good price too some sellers have the same thing at twice the price. The box it comes in is also sturdy and attractive so a great place to store it as well as the velvet pocket that comes in addition with the gadget.

Had burst water mains in house, this device was really helpful to me in understanding the scale of the problem. I like the way you can easily move from one surface to another. Feels robust to use providing accurate results.

The moisture meter arrived on time as promised, and seems to work well. It is a solid piece of kit though not sure how accurate it is as I have nothing to compare it to. However it does detect damp on a wall that I know is damp- as the damp proof course is faulty. Also used it on logs for my log burner and again it works fine.. Very good for the price...
