I decided to try Shroomo because I wanted to reduce the amount of caffeine I was drinking. I love the taste of coffee so I had serious doubts that I was going to like this stuff, but I was very pleasantly surprised. It has a bold cocoa flavor with just a hint of sweetness that I find very satisfying. Furthermore, it gives me every bit as much of a boost as I get from coffee, but with much less caffeine. Another plus is that my blood pressure is definitely lower than it was when I was drinking coffee on a daily basis. Shroomo is a bit more expensive per cup than coffee, but the only real complaint I have is that I invariably find residue of undissolved powder in my cup. However, the great flavor and energy boost I get from the product far outweighs that minor complaint.

I don't know anything about its affects yet because I couldn't wait to try it and this is my first cup. But I can tell you this, if you like a smooth chocolate cocoa, this is delicious. I put it in my coffee and I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty it is. So if you're worried about a mushroom flavor, no worries at all. Now I'm just hoping it does what it says it can do. The consistency is very lightweight powdery , similar to what you would find in a can of cocoa mix. Certainly on the expensive side but not as expensive as some of them. I will try to follow up with whether or not I believe it can do what it says it can such as relaxation, easing anxiety, and anti-inflammatory. We'll see!

Customers should understand that this product does not taste at all like coffee, but rather tastes mostly of chocolate. It’s good, just not like coffee at all.

I wanted to like this. I need a coffee alternative. I've used half a bag. It is a hot chocolate drink with with a mushroom taste. Not bad, BUT, it is gritty and doesn't stay mixed. Sludge in the bottom of the cup. If your not drinking that gritty mess, you're wasting a lot of expensive product. I wouldn't buy this again. Can't get past the gritty mushroom hot chocolate!
