It’s great and perfect size for a gymnastics chalk bucket

I bought this in two different sizes to store powder laundry soaps/additives. Store containers create all kinds of problems for me, as did pull off top pails that I tried. This one had one issue, a child foiling tab, important for many households, but a huge barrier for me; a friend popped it out, and now it's perfect. This is a manageable size, stacks, has an easy to remove/replace lid, sturdy handle, water proof seal even with the tab removed (no more hard lumps of laundry soap). My friend easily wrote on it with a permanent marker to make the contents identifiable. If I still had chickens, dogs or cats, I would buy the larger size to store their feed.

The media could not be loaded.  I totally love how sturdy this bucket is. I was looking for a good 5 gallon water bucket to use when we'll be going camping at ASSATEAGUE Island National Park over July 4th ... and knowing that it has a screw-on lid makes all the difference in the world!! I don't like snap on lids as they hurt my fingers and the lids are often hard to take off. I highly recommend this product! It's a bit pricy, but I'm willing to pay the price for something great!!

I do not typically write reviews, but saw a note from the producer encouraging me to do so. I have two of these buckets —one at camp, one at home —that I use for collecting compost before my weekly dump run. They are perfect! Easy to open and close, the perfect size for a week’s worth of kitchen scraps. If you have a similar need, I would encourage you to purchase one (or more!) of these sturdy, well-made buckets.

I am a handy person but this bucket and its smaller sister I also have, are just so hard to open.why is there an extra red side "button or lever" to open the lid?that is the one component I don't understand and why its often stuck?

This did exactly what I needed to do. I needed to use the bucket as part of a canister fishtank filter I was making and I have had no leaks even when it's under some pressure. One thing that was odd was that the red child safety tab came off really easily. Not quite sure why, it doesn't affect what I needed it for but it is worth noting.Overall great product, preformed the job I needed from it

This bucket works great, easy to unlatch and open. Mine came with no black O ring so I emailed the company (info was included in bucket) and they quickly sent me a new O ring plus an extra lid. Good customer service.

The little ratcheting lock breaks off after a few uses. Other than that it is a bucket.
