I decided to spend the last tax refund I would ever get ( I just retired ) on this light stand. I have always saved my refund but since this was my last one why not spend it. And I am glad I did. This light stand is great. The frame is heavy duty steel, the paint is high end with no blemishes anywhere, and all the holes line up. I received the frame in one box the day before I received the lights and assembly instructions in the second box the next day. I assembled the frame by looking at all the pictures on line as a guide and I did ok only making a couple of mistakes easily correctable. It was fun. So I don’t know how the assembly instructions for the frame are. But the instructions for installing the lights were very good.In the past month I have started tomatoes, sweet peppers, basil, parsley, coleus and lettuce. All the plants love the light. All the plants are healthy. The adjustable lights work great and are necessary with the way these plants are growing. The lights put out very little heat. My two foot by two foot four bulb T5 in another very cheap stand I have puts out a bit of heat which I have to protect the plants from.The only thing that you have to be careful of is how you raise the lights. I was lifting the light fixture to loosen the chain but I found the ring loop on the light fixture tried to come unhooked when it wasn’t under pressure so I put tape over the open slots for now and lifted the lights only by pulling on the chains. My bad.I read in another review about how the bottom shelf doesn’t have the support the other two shelves have and this is true. But I built two six inch tall hydroponic baths. By putting the bottom shelf on the floor ( I don’t plan on moving my shelf and it is on a rubber mat ) I gain clearance between the fast growing lettuce plants in them and the light. The lettuce is growing so fast I needed the extra space.I haven’t grown any plants since my father got sick twenty wears ago. Using this light stand to start and grow plants is going to be fun and easy. Love it.

Very well built and nice finish. This will be used in a greenhouse, but is nice enough to be in the living area of my house. Assembly instructions are clearly written, and instructions anticipate problems I might have had. Although they recommend two people for assembly, I worked alone without a problem. One poly tray was cracked. A simple call to a pleasant service rep was all it took to get a replacement. I highly recommend the LED 3-tier Sunlite Garden and Gardener’s Supply Company.

Update 6/2023: The lights with 2 per fixture are plenty strong enough to grow Cattleya orchids. I was originally regretful that I did not purchase the cart with more lights per fixture. I am no longer regretful. This is a great grow cart. I have bloomed many of my orchids using it just fine. Also I can tell that they do not want more light because of the foliage. I am very happy, Previous review: I used to have one of the Flora Carts which are much wider. This cart is much more suitable for a living space. I think that although it does not look like furniture per se, it blends into a household decor fairly well.The assembly instructions are stellar. Really clear and easy to follow. I was able to assemble this myself in about 30 minutes. I am happy with my purchase. One of the difficult things about assembly was removing the protective film from the fixtures. It was a chore because it adheres too well. An observation someone made in a youtube video featuring this cart is that the small ring that attaches the height adjustment chain to the fixture can fall off when adjusting the height. I can confirm you should hold the chain and the fixture itself when making height adjustments because it can slip off. I was missing one chain retention clips that secure the fixture height but they kindly sent me new pack of 6 so I'll have extras. To be honest I thought this was the high intensity cart because I wasn't careful. There are two models; I purchased the two-light fixture. They claim the three-light fixture gives 50% more light. The three light fixture only costs minimally more so I don't really understand why anyone would choose the two fixture one. You can always leave a bulb out if you want lower light. I would have went for the 3 light fixture but they looked so much the same I missed the distinction. More light = More options.

I put this unit together solo (directions recommend two people) and had no issues. All the parts are machined very uniformly, fit together well, and are both light and durable. This unit easily housed all my seedling starts for the summer and fall growing seasons and the removable trays make cleaning it very simple. Overall a great product, the only downside being that it is a little more expensive than I would have liked.

Well made except. These lights are not good which defeats the purpose! Definitely not strong enough light for succulents. Mine are stretching and fading.

One of the light bulbs didn’t work So I called the Gardener’s Supply company & they said to start a claim through Amazon and that took me from one loop to another 😡😡 Costumer service don’t even know how to walk me through it….Very frustratingOtherwise I guess the product is good haven’t been able to fully use it

This is the third stand i have ordered. All three arrive quickly and are very well packaged. Easy and fun for two people to put together. I grow houseplants from cuttings and seeds and these stands keep the plants very happy. I live up north and winters seem long, these stands provide extra bright light in my house to help me through!k

The manufacturing company needs to give better assembly instructions, otherwise it's a great product. Plants are already looking healthier and can see new growth in two weeks time of usage.
