Takes a little getting use to but does the job
The quality is excellent and is good value for money. I struggled at first to get the unit to grip as I found the upgraded plastic covers initially slipped on my particular oil filter. However, with a little perseverance, some double-sided tape on the filter to improve friction and the use of a longer torque wrench to apply the pressure and twist in one single action, the troublesome filter was released without making a mess. The trick is using one single action as grip is designed to release once the rotation stops. Once it took hold, the filter was not able to resist being released. It was the only tool that would have released my particular filter due to access and angle of application. Scissor type would not get in the space.

Is doing the job but is slipping some time is hard to use and need extra force to keep it in place.

Utilisé pour enlever un filtre à huile collé sur une twingo 2 1.5 dci 85 de 2009. Très pratique pour accéder à ce filtre sans démonter toute la façade La force est phénoménale, le filtre devait être dessus depuis un certain temps car abîmé, l'ancien propriétaire n'avais pas réussi à le changer. Faire chauffer le moteur comme pour la vidange et procéder au desserrage. Pour ma part j'ai broyé le filtre en effectuant le desserrage et j'ai pu finalement le changer

J'ai voulu utiliser cette clé a filtre pour démonter un filtre où l'accès était difficile pour une clé à sangle. Au final, c'était frustrant et inefficace, la clé glisse sur le filtre et rippe.. J'ai donc ressorti ma clé a sangle, et finalement même montée de travers elle a été plus utile que cet outil a griffe.

Funktioniert sehr gut. Nur die Plastikkappen halten fast nichts aus. Waren nach der dritten Benutzung schon gerissen.
