London A-Z Pocket Atlas

Every Street Is In Here
This is a compact and complete street map of London in book form. The book makes it portable and easy to access. My issue becomes the print is so tiny I cannot even read it with glasses on many areas. The index is great with a nice cross reference grid. It’s a gray map, just not for old eyes.

Not as extensive as the original
I bought this Pocket London A-Z along with a “dumb” phone in an effort to disconnect and get back to basics (AKA relive my misspent 90s/early 2000s youth). Unfortunately the area coverage is more limited than the last time I bought a copy and it doesn’t actually extend to where I live. The maps of the centre are fine and the large scale central London maps are useful, but not extending even to Acton (W3) in the west seems like quite a short coming. Added to that there’s no tube map on the back cover (there is one buried in pages of the atlas but it’s not nearly as convenient).I had read the description and saw that it went out as far as Neasden and wrongly assumed it would also capture Ealing and Acton. My mistake, but a photo of the key to map pages in the description would have been helpful. I’ve done my best to capture that in the hope of saving someone else the hassle of getting something that’s not quite what they wanted.

Wonderfully old fashioned.
A toZ is just great. No one is going to nick this as you stand by the kerbside. Central, larger scale plans are essential for very short sighted people.

Pity it doesn't cover all of Greater London
Nice size for the tourist but doesn't cover enough of North Greater London like the original did.
