Question 1

I have received the pulley but that's all - no instructions, guide etc that was advertised. Clueless on what to do

Accepted Answer

I found this pulley very useful in getting my right shoulder back into working order, along with other physio treatment. To use this you hook the strap over the top of a door and pull the door closed (towards you so the strap is trapped between the door and the frame). Then you stand in front of the door, either facing away or towards the door. Grasp a handle in each hand and then, using your good arm, pull on the handle, which in turn lifts your bad arm up without putting any pressure on the shoulder. Probably not explained very well but the idea is to get your shoulder moving with very little effort. You may find you need to shorten the ropes depending on how tall you are or how high you want your arm lifted. I only used it for my shoulder exercises as prescribed by my physiotherapist.

Question 2

Do you have to tie the knot to adjust the length, or does it automatically lock by pulling it through the handle?

Accepted Answer

Yes if you want the rope shorter you would tie the knot through the handles… but no need for that … just take an extra step away from where you hang it.

Question 4

Accepted Answer

Trap the end over a door, close the door. let the pulley hang down and carry out your exercise in your desired way. I sit facing the door and pull each side alternately.
