Color Restorer Dye

I can't say enough about this product!!! I was skeptical but thought I'd give it a try and I'm so glad I did. I purchased a used leather sectional and didn't realize how bad the seats were faded until I got it home. I ordered the leather refinish sampler which had three colors but none matched the color of the couch. I decided to just refinish the whole thing with the dark brown and it turned out amazingly well. It dries really fast and covers nicely. I have had several people ask where I purchased it and are going to do theirs as well. I highly recommend it!! I attached the before and after pictures but couldn't get them to rotate.

What sorcery is this? I dumpster dived a leather chair that was- shall we say-distressed. My kids doubted this decision so would not help me carry "one more piece of crap" into the house. I admit- it was ugly. Bad dirty, stained beige- color looked like a polluted cloud over Chernobyl but it *was* leather and had no rips so I hopped on line to see what crafty thing I could do to save it. This product looked promising but perhaps a little hyped. Would a tiny little jar of liquid actually restore my children's faith in my judgement? So I get home after a night of losing at the Casino and sitting in my mailbox is a tiny little jar of Camel Colored Leather Refinish Color Restorer Dye. It's 3 am but I'm a little curious and honestly a little lit, but really need a win- so I pop it open...then read the directions- "apply with sponge applicator"- nope - how about a dry mop refill. And how about I do it in right in the livingroom, no dropcloth and poor lighting? No problem- this stuff is magic- it goes on and bonds immediately- the first coat sunk in the thirsty leather like sunscreen on a hot day. The second coat was truly gratifying. perfect color, rich solid color - scratches gone, and it dried in about 5 minutes. Best part was it looked just as good in the morning- no color transfer just rich wonderful shade that matches the artwork perfectly. So now it's mommy’s chair and anyone caught sitting in does the dishes for a week. - Yes. this is how order was restored at the Roberts' house and possibly the universe proper.

Before & after!!!! Our couches are 4 years old but this one gets the highest traffic and has shown its color loss badly! It has been restored to original condition & also covered up dog scratches very well on the other couch! Now I need to order black for the basement couches!!! So happy, great prouduct :)

My leather sectional was very tired faded, just awful looking. I did some research online and decided on this product. Let me tell you so far i could not be happier with the results. It covers so well and makes the sectional look brand new. I had to order one additional contai er of this because the sectional is so big but $40.00 versus $3000 for a new leather sectional is a small price to pay. It says wont rub off, a d i am hoping that is true, i will add to my review in a week or two after it is completely finished and i sit on it. Cant go wrong with this magical product. I have had this product on my leather sofa for quite a while now never did it wear off never did it fade good product

It was great. I had sent my several-years old Coach bag to Coach repair to fix or replace the strap and for general cleanup. While they fixed the strap, the bag came back without any re-furb at all. When questioned, apparently Coach no longer refurbishes bags so I was stuck with a shabby looking bag with a new strap that cost me 100.00. Needless to say I was not happy. So I figured I would try to find a shoe polish that matched the bag and give that a try. I found this polish and it matched the bag perfectly. After applying just one coat, the bag looked instantly better.

Had a tan Michael Koran bad that I loved. From constant use, it became scuffed and in general looked kind of shabby. I bought this product after reading the reviews and thoqught I would try it. I painted the product on the handbag using a small foam paint brush - trying just a small area - just in case it wasn't going to work. I followed the directions, let it dry a bit, then buffed it with a soft cloth. Absolutely amazing! It looks like a new purse. I did the entire purse and could not be more pleased. My advise is to try a small spot first making sure that it is completely dry before buffing.

Updated to 3 stars. My original comments were two applications in. I did a third application touching up the areas where it didn't take (starting over with cleaning the jacket thoroughly) and then a fourth coat touching up again. Jacket is looking good now and color is holding. But, I'd still say that with the brown dye, don't count on an easy time -- persistence pays off. I've since done a black jacket with black dye -- it looks great with a single application. 5 stars to the black, but that's a separate review. Original review follows.My dark brown coat faded over the years to a light brown. Intent was to get it back to its original color. I bought the dye and their cleaner. I used the cleaner per directions. I applied the dye and the jacket looked great. I let it sit for a couple of days and applied some leather condition. The dye isn't really a dye as much as it is a stain. So, I've already got bits rubbing off and it's getting worse every time I wear it. I'm hoping that the black on a black jacket will be less noticeable, but this dark brown is really disappointing on my brown jacket.
