Help?! how do i cook this rice? it came out like gellatin! i cooked it the same way i do sushi rice and it was like goo!

I put about about 16 ounces of rice to about 16 ounces of water into my Aroma rice cooker. It takes about 15 minutes to cook. I open the pot and enjoy.

Is this truly short grain rice? I am kinda confused by the review answers.

no it is not short grain rice but it is sticky rice for making rice balls but it is way over priced I will not buy again ( sticky rice, sweet rice same thing ) short grain sticky rice is Japanese rice. I hope this helps

Why is this so much? it’s normally $17-20 for the same size at the store.

Then buy it at the store. Although you may want to weigh all the costs, including opportunity costs. For instance, if you could save $10 on the item, but it requires you to drive 50 minutes each way to the store, you would have to spend ~$6 on gas plus 1 hour and 40 minutes on the trip, which for me would be ~$67 worth of time I could have spent on something more productive. In this hypothetical situation, it would cost ~$73 to save $10. For this reason, I found the amazon deal to be worth the extra cost. The rice is also very good quality.
