I've used 2 of these strap wrenches only 3 times to separate the halves of a shower filter holder.These inexpensive ones work best for my lousy holder because one half is smaller than the other half that needs a narrow strap. When placed correctly you still have to be careful that the plastic filter holder doesn't crack from too much force. Please someone, invent a better shower filter and holder than all that are available now, from my experience none perform the way they should no matter cost or fancy advertising.

Made a small modification to it. Now they stay clamped while using two strap wrenches - one on the lid, the other on the jar. Hmm. Maybe Shark Tank will like this.

I ordered this because of my neuropathy and I have a similar one that I love because it works so well. I didn't want to be without. This one has one flaw. Because there is no cover on both sides, the rubber pops out while placing it on bottle/jar top. It does adjust well but the rubber has to be pushed back down. I am surprised the designer didn't notice this. I cannot recommend it others until the redesign is made.

It is the best for opening hard to open jars!!!

This thing is awesome for opening any size jar or many things that become stuck.

By using 2 of them you are preventing tennis elbow and wrist pain, specially if you are over seventy, as I am

like it, is a tool to open the jar easily.

I BOUGHT THIS ITEM IN HOPES THAT IT WOULD ALLOW MY MOTHER, WHO IS IN HER 0'S, TO BE ABLE TO OPEN JARS MORE EASILY. BOY WAS I RIGHT! NOW I DON'T HAVE TO GO TO HER HOUSE AT 11:00 ON A WORK NIGHT, TO OPEN A JAR OF JELLY! IT'S A GOOD LITTLE TOOL, AND WORKS WELL ON OIL FILTERS FOR MOWERS TOO!!!!
