Spigen Rugged Armor Pro Designed for PlayStation Portal Remote Player Hard Shell Travel Carrying Case - Black

Great case which feels sturdy and heavy duty. The Portal molding on the inside looks like it fits nicely and will protect as intended. The extra pockets and compartments are also a nice addition and are integrated well with nice functional details (magnetic flap, soft screen cover, Velcro etc). I’ve been happy with Spigen for many of the past years with my phone cases and they have delivered yet again this time with the Portal Case.

This is by far the best case for the PlayStation Portal. Shout out to Spigen for creating a sturdy case with lots of compartment space to carry different things. In the pictures you can see how I use both compartments with different things I need to have. I have my cable plus joystick cover in the top compartment. My bottom “hidden” compartment has my cleaning cloth and by pretty bulky battery pack. Overall the case is amazing. The case also holds my PS portal with a case on and does not move around. Also, when pushing down on the Spigen case it does not push down on the buttons which is another huge plus.

This is the best I have seen. I ordered a regular off-brand zipper case to compare side by side. This one was bigger in length, width, and height by about 3/4"-1". It is a beast but it has more storage and a much stronger shell. There is definitely lots of storage here. There is some play to the mold for the portal like others say. But it isn't huge and the portal doesn't rattle around when closed. I think they wanted to accommodate for any portal cases/skins some will add. I put a microfiber cloth in each end and that keeps it snug. The storage section under is nice and holds the Pulse earbud case. There is a small zipper pouch for maybe an air tag. I haven't traveled yet with it. Just needed something to store it in around the house for now. I wish the zippers were longer bc it's hard to use them sometimes, but I added a keychain to them. Minor thing. Great case that will last forever.

I really like this case. Very roomy and holds my main and much needed accessories just fine with no worries that it will crush or push against my PS Portal screen. I like the AirTag pocket, not as hidden as they make it seem with their description but still a nice spot/feature. The storage beneath, where the Portal sits, fits the Sony Pulse Expore buds nicely. Only issue, as others have stated, is that the Portal shifts because the mold is not an exact fit. My solution to this was adding some weatherstrip foam to the inside, had some weatherstrip left over but if you have to buy it’s a less than a $3 fix. For the price I shouldn’t have had to modify it for my Portal not to shift in the case but like I said I already had materials and it was an easy fix. The case suits my needs and I feel confident enough that if I dropped my Portal there would be no damage to my device. I included pictures of my Zelda Nintendo Switch travel case for size comparison for those who need it. It is bigger but I don’t feel it is too cumbersome if I want to keep my device protected.

This things amazing. Protects portal and has room for battery pack and cables. I take it on my train ride to work and it holds up. Can’t ask for much more. Maybe the price and cable port is only downside the other option from A gaming has. No regrets though.

I like Spigen products and their PlayStation Portal case is excellent. The case itself is nicely made and hard enough outside to protect your Portal from damage. Interior has lots of space for extras and looks easy to keep clean. There’s a microfibre pad built into the lid that protects your screen while also offering another place underneath to store extras. The inside of the case is molded to fit the Portal controller and sticks, so it fits nicely, but it’s worth noting that there are no straps inside the case to hold the Portal in place, so it will move around a little bit when the case is closed. Not a big deal, but if that matters then this may not be the case for you. Overall excellent quality and durability and a good option when compared against the slightly cheaper off-brand offerings.
