I must admit that I'd never heard of diamond art / painting. I was looking for something different for my sister for Christmas. She's a big Queen / Freddie Mercury fan so when I spotted a diamond art painting of him, I had a look and my interest was piqued. I had a quick look on Youtube to get a better idea of what was involved - there's plenty of advice and demonstrations on it. However, rather than buy on the spot, I thought that I'd try one myself to see if I thought that she would like doing one.Rather than the Mercury option, I selected the cheapest available with prime delivery and this was it - for the princely some of £1.98! I was impressed - so much so that I've already ordered several others. I found the process relaxing, was impressed with the end result and may well have found myself a new, inexpensive hobby to help pass the long winter days ahead!As for the Mercury, I chose a different one from another source which I preferred and I'm sure that she'll love it. As for my other sister, she'll be getting one with a cute cat to make!
