Urea can be used on any body part; it is an excellent moisturizer which helps the body to pull in moisture from the environment. Whether your skin is super-dry and cracked, chapped, just a little dry, or even recovering from an injury - even after surgery (once sutures are removed and the suture line is closed), you can apply urea safely. It is not an acidic product like Lactic Acid lotions, so it doesn't really have any risk of burning or injuring the skin. You can safely use urea on any external part of the body. The major concern is the texture of the cream - that is highly dependant upon the concentration of urea in the product; for example I find that with a 40% cream, the urea tends to leave a sort of film on the skin which, when rubbed will pill up or create little balls that can be brushed off. The 20% concentration may not be the strongest, but I find that it is the perfect balance of moisture and texture.
