Not what I expected but my fault for not reading closer. this item is exactly as described. I have one shirt with French cuffs needing cufflinks and I broke one of the ones I had so this is kind of an emergency replacement. the studs are typical tuxedo studs. I did not need them an thought there were several pares of cufflinks in the set. Again my fault not the sellers and my problem was solved with this order. The cufflinks are a bit larger in diameter then normal for every day use but the entire set it functional and the price is right.
