My favorite everyday use pan! If you don’t know how to cook with stainless steel pans, it’s worth watching a quick video to learn because the difference is so worth it! Heat the pan on low/medium heat for 2-3 minutes before you add oil or food. Practice with something like tortillas until you get the hang of it. It’s easy once you learn the basics of use. This pan is well balanced and heavy but not overly so. The handle doesn’t get too hot when using on stove top. The edges are smooth and it cleans easily. Cooks evenly and heats uniformly. The size is perfect for two to three chicken breasts or 1 lb of stew beef with veggies for a stir fry. I’ve used it for pancakes, French toast and to fry up tacos. I love this pan and I’ll be replacing all of my pans with this brand. I’ve only had it for a few weeks so I can’t comment on durability but it definitely feels sturdy and great quality. For the price, this is excellent!

We have been using the 8" and 12: Tramotina Signature Tri-Ply Clad SS pans for a year and a half. We also ordered a different stainless steel pan from another manufacturer that was much more highly priced at the same time. These 2 Tramotina pans have held at least as well if not better than the competing pan. The have been very durable and are used daily with our large family. Highly recommended. Also, I just used a little Bar Keeper's Friend on the bottom of the pans the other day and it cleaned off some black residue very nicely. They look like new again. We look forward to continue to use these pans for a long time and we are even considering replacing the other pan with one from this brand.

Have used this pan half a dozen times, including eggs and steak, with excellent results. Looks great, well made, heats evenly, hasn't warped, doesn't stick, cleans easily. If you're in the market for stainless, do yourself a favor and watch a couple you tube videos. If you learn how to use it you'll get the same results. I can't see how another pan at twice the price could perform better.

I bought the 12” pan about 18 months ago & it’s great. It heats well & sears wonderfully with a little avocado oil. And if something sticks, I add an inch or 2 of water, a little soap, heat it up & gently use my scrub brush. Everything comes off easily-even burnt on food. My only issue is that, to me, it’s super heavy. When full (of meat & sauce for example), putting it into it out of the oven can be tricky. I almost always need 2 hands cuz it’s very heavy. Otherwise, I love it & I definitely recommend it.

Perfect size and well made

LOVE this pan. The learning curve from cooking with nonstick pans to stainless steel pans is a little steep, but this pan is durable, easy to clean, heats quickly, cooks evenly, and is way lighter than cast iron pans. I don’t even need my cast iron pan anymore, I always reach for this pan.

Low to Medium heat only? What? I bought this fry pan because I wanted the option of using a very hot pan to sear meat if I need to. Now, after I have already purchased the pan I read the fine print and find restrictions. Unfortunately I read the fine print AFTER using the pan. I heard it discolors easily, and of course it did. Wow, I am very sorry I bought this pan!

I did a lot of research, and reading of reviews before I bought this. I am not an expert cook by any means, but I knew I had to replace my cookware — non-stick stuff, old, and scratched up to boot — but I was also moving soon, so whatever I bought was going with me. I could not just throw it away because it was "cheap and cheerful," something that would do until I moved. It had to be the best I could afford. It's 18-10 stainless steel, so should last me until I last need it. So, I bought this. And, so far, so good. I have enjoyed using it very much. I do a lot of stove-top cooking to make a dish that can be parceled out for packed lunches throughout the week, so I like this size. Advice is to follow the instructions sent with: Don't go to high heats, and when cleaning it after a cook, don't be tempted to scrub off anything that might stick. Leave it to soak a bit. And then be gentle.

Very sturdy stainless steel pan that everyone should have. The quality of the pan is next to none and you feel it while holding it. Slender hands might feel it to be a bit heavy due to its sturdiness. Very easy to clean when you have done cooking. No lid supplied though with the pan so you will have to get that separately. Heats up very fast and food preparation has been a breeze with it. Good job tramontina!

Great versatile pan that cooks almost by itself.

Just got the pan yesterday and used it last night. It’s an excellent pan and very well built. High quality steel. Also, made in Brazil. I believe the company has moved away from China and now makes them in Brazil. I am very satisfied. They should offer another version with a lid. Would pay $20 more for lid if available.
