I don’t usually leave reviews for products that I buy on Amazon, but I think this one deserved a review. I bought this for my SUN conure. The qualities is perfectly fine. I mean as well made the flaps roll up and they have neat tie ups that are easy to handle same with the front flap. There are buttons to clip the flaps into place. It came with two nice stainless steel cups that hold food and water. It’s got a wooden perch that screws into the sides with easy to hold nuts. It’s got a tray in the bottom it’s got plenty of ventilation. I don’t see where anybody could criticize this for the amount of money that I paid for it. It’s perfect to carry my parrot out to the car and take a short ride to the vet or just give him a change of scenery and from what I see I just put them inside. He loves it so yeah I think this is a pretty good deal and if you buy it, you’ll be satisfied for a quickie carrying case that you can actually throw up your shoulders and carry the bird on your back the shoulder straps are basic and a slightly padded and the carrier isn’t that heavy so it’s not like you need a strong set of shoulder straps to keep it in place. I would definitely buy this again if I ever had to for whatever reason, but from what I can see, it’s not quality that’s gonna cause us to fail and something like this was never meant to be a cage. I live in an apartment and there’s no way I could ever take him out in his big cage in the event of an emergency and this is exactly what I need for that purpose or just taking a walk or a ride in the car like I said, and even if the bird damages it somehow it’s so cheap. I’d buy another one.

Such a fabulous value- I bought other brands before this one that I returned for being too small, bad smell, cheaply made, etc. but this one is a keeper! Very good quality for the price, it ls a good size- perfect & spacious for my Indian Ringneck & other medium to large birds I would imagine. It has everything you would want- it’s sturdy, safe, secure, has a separate zipper to remove the trap, has a little strap to hold a toy, plenty of ventilation. You can tell the sellers of this have bird experience because it’s made well. There are flaps on all sides with buttons to clip it down if bird gets anxious. The mesh on the sides is metal so bird can’t chew through. I love it. Also comfy to wear & cute. Definitely recommend! Excited yo take my bird out more with me

For the price, I feel this is a great purchase, especially if your bird is a bit smaller and not overly distructive. Though it clearly not a pak-o-bird which is considered gold standard, they still incorporated a very thoughtful design especially for this price point. Not only does this actually includes some wire mesh on the sides which helps with safety and durability, but they window is large enough to provide great air flow. The top mesh is sadly plastic, but at least that helps with the airflow and visibility. It also includes a really nice metal tray with metal covering for droppings and this can be removed on it's own through a lower zipper - love that. It is comfortable to wear and easy to move around. What could be better - The bag is a bit smaller than expected. This is mostly because the top flap is more rounded than squared, so headspace is cutoff and the perch cannot be adjusted to help with this. My smaller Congo African Grey does fit and can use it, my larger Congo African Grey cannot - it's just too small. The food bowls are also very small and clip on. What would have been nice would have been the option on using a water bottle, even if it cost more and a more secure way to attach the food bowl. My overall opinion is that it's a really nice small alternative to the typical carry cage that costs a fraction of the price of the high quality competitor. It's compact and a great option for smaller birds, but with small adjustments could work really well for medium sized parrots. Definitely better quality than a lot of the other lower priced options.

This is a beautiful carrier. It's well made, the perch is extremely secure, and I like that I can cover the windows while biking so he doesn't get too cold. It looks great, too, and I've had customers immediately ask if it was for sale when they saw it at my pet store. The metal cage is secure, and removes easily for cleaning. This is a perfect cage for smaller birds, like budgies and tiels. Anything with a stronger beak, like a sun conure or my Senegal, it doesn't hold up. Yes, the metal mesh cage has resisted all attempts to chew it up. The fabric around it, not so much. The plastic on the front, even less. There is a gash that my parrot has chewed across three quarters of the window, and he's working on the plastic around the metal rings on the bottom. I've had to glue the window down the side as it separated from the stitching started coming unraveled from the top being chewed on. I'm fine with this. It was a purchase to see if I could take my bird on my bike to and from work. And it accomplishes that. The covers ensure that he's not chewing his way totally out. My guy likes having me pet him while I'm on the bus portion of my commute, which I can sometimes do through the holes on the front. Having a couple of loops inside (top and bottom) to hang some small toys to chew on, instead of the sides, would be an improvement and might help save the plastic. Overall, it's a great cage for small birds, just not mine.

I have a mid‑sized Amazon parrot, definitely bigger than conures and cockatiels but nowhere near macaw‑sized. I needed something safe to carry him to the vet for wing trims. The first time, I made the mistake of bringing him in on my shoulder. Living out in the country, the waiting room was full of large dogs — some clearly hunting breeds — and Brandon caused quite a stir. Every time a dog got too excited, he tucked himself under my chin like a little feathered turtle. That’s when I knew I needed a proper carrier. After weeks of comparing options, I finally chose this one, and I’m glad I did. For his next vet trip, Brandon walked right in. I had him resting in my palm and set him on the perch with his back to the mesh. He was more curious than nervous, and I zipped him in quickly. The moment we stepped outside, he perked up — he clearly thought we were going on an adventure. At the vet, he stayed calm and secure inside his little travel home. He could see me the whole time, which helped. The only challenge was the wait: we were there for over two hours, and by the end, he was getting a bit stir‑crazy. When it was time to leave, he wasn’t thrilled about going back inside, but once he was in, he settled down and rode home just fine. One thing I was relieved about: even when he got antsy, he never tried chewing the fabric. I’d read that some larger parrots had done that with other carriers, so I was watching closely. This one held up beautifully. For short vet trips, this carrier has been perfect — safe, sturdy, and comfortable for both of us.

This is a very well made backpack and our bird happily rides inside.Easy to carry and comfortable fit.

This backpack is almost amazing. I was ready to write a 5-star review, but discovered a FATAL FLAW on day one, rendering it useless. I am returning it. It's advertised as indestructible. NOT true. At the beach, my sunconure easily chewed holes in the black nylon mesh top, so it's no longer safe for use. Other than that, the backpack is easy to carry and buckle in the car, has excellent privacy flaps, assembles easily, has a convenient metal pull out tray and wire grate, a soft loop to hang a toy inside, a decent perch with two clip on metal bowls, and great airflow. There was a funny smell for the first 2 days, but that dissipated. If this manufacturer designs a new and improved version of this bag that's truely indestructable with metal mesh on top like the metal mesh on the sides, we will repurchase one immediately. I hope they have one in the works!

This thing is Awesome! I have a 39 year old yellow nape amazon that I put in here. I've taken him to the lake, on walks and use it for us traveling in the car back and forth between states. If he's not in the backpack while I'm driving, he's trying to go anywhere but where I want him to be and it's very distracting while driving. He's kinda big for this size of bag but it still works well enough. (He's a normal sized amazon). Anyway, it's not like it's his regular cage, it's just a way to transport and take them places they wouldn't normally be able to go. There won't be a risk for them biting anyone either while they're in this bag, which makes it the perfect opportunity for friends or family members to finally "hold" the bird that would never let them otherwise. They include a perch, a poop tray and food cups which is awesome! The fact that you can raise and lower the side covers to protect from wind is a great touch. Also being able to move the perch up or down is nice. Very easy to set up and use. Would definitely recommend!

Les trous pour fixé le perchoir son à des distances différents ce qui fait que le perchoir n'est pas parallèle à la base. La visse du Goblet est un peux coupante, mais un simple limage règle le problème. Déçu que le grillage de devant ne sois pas lui aussi en acier inoxydable comme les côtés

Also meine vier Wellensittiche passen ohne Probleme in den Käfig und können mit auf Reisen gehen. Das mitgelieferte Zubehör ist sehr praktisch. Ich frage mich nur, ob man irgendwo noch mehr davon nachkaufen kann?
