W702 7" for Motorcycle Apple Carplay/Android Auto

We got this from my daughter’s 2004 Highlander and she absolutely loves it. Connects fast the CD holder works perfect. And it was incredibly easy to set up an inexpensive.

Excellent opportunity to have Android Auto on a 2022 BMW K1600GTL... but it was not an easy install. I did have to buy a Coyote Industries XT2K160023 XT2/XT3 GPS Mount for 2022-2024 K1600 as well as a Vanasche Motorsports Carpuride to AMPs adapter plate and tap into the phone cubby's USB wire inside the dash as a trigger for the power run back to the battery to accommodate the front and rear cameras with the use of a 12-volt, 4-pin SPST automotive Bosch-style relay, but it was all worth it.

This is a real game changer! Having Apple CarPlay on the bike, which means native maps and music streamed right to my headset, is such a quality of life upgrade. I’m only giving four stars because occasionally the unit will kick the screen out of CarPlay over and over for seemingly no reason.

Screen is responsive and I'm glad I got it. If they fixed the following issues, this would be perfect. Dash Cam Settings: the time and date have to be set manually. The system is designed to be used with a smartphone, why wouldn't you have the date and time sync with the phone? Not that big an issue if you tie into the battery and use the bar mount remote to turn on/off the unit. But they didn't include a switched accessories line, so you have to hook main power to an accessory line for auto on/off with the key; doing it this way, the date and time reset after three or four days of non-use. Android Auto Day/Night Settings: When set to automatic the screen never switches to night mode. It doesn't switch when the phone switches, confirmed on my truck system, it switches when the headlights turn on. So I'm wondering why they didn't least tie this into the sensor that controls screen brightness. Day maps are too bright for night, and night maps are too dark for day. I didn't discover these issues in time, if I had, I would return it and buy a brand that put a little more forethought in the end-user experience. New development, 6 months after purchasing, the unit crashes to dashboard the reloads Android Auto about every 15 seconds. It has become totally useless.

I finally decided to upgrade my bike with the Carpuride W702, and I'm so glad I did. The 7-inch touchscreen is bright and clear, even on sunny days, and it’s responsive enough to use with my riding gloves on. Connecting my phone for wireless CarPlay was super easy—it pairs automatically every time I turn the bike on. I really like the dual Bluetooth feature, which lets me listen to music and hear navigation directions through my helmet headset while the phone stays safely in my pocket. The waterproof (IP67) build gives me peace of mind when I get caught in the rain. Installation was straightforward, and the mount feels solid. Highly recommended for any rider who wants modern navigation without buying a new bike!

I didn't want to mount my phone on the handlebars of my motorcycle for a couple reasons, rain and vibration. This is a great solution for me, using Android Auto. It allows me to have a navigation system via Google Maps on my phone (securely tucked away in my riding jacket), and it pairs with my Sena helmet headset for phone calls, directions, music and whatever else Android Auto provides. The touchscreen display has the advantage of being much larger than my phone, and is legible even in bright sunlight. I haven't used it after dark, so I can't speak to the brightness therein, but it is adjustable. So far I'm really pleased with this unit. The setup instructions are a little obtuse, but once figured out, it's working perfectly.

Player , I had purchased the w701 i liked it so much.I bought one for my old truck just larger and the w901 had a new car mount which was perfect and placed the screen at dash lever instead of above the dash. Excellent unit well worth the price and as with the w701 the wireless is better than my new car which randomly disconnects.. highly recommended

Muy fácil de instalar, lo puedes hacer sin necesidad de ningún Taller. Muy intuitivo, inmediatamente se conecta con tu teléfono, la pantalla muy brillante, muy rápida la conexión entre este CarPlay y tu teléfono. Me gusta que es un sistema espejo, no es un GPS, simplemente replica lo que tu teléfono tiene así que recibes mensajes, ves tu música, puede ser llamadas, etc. si tienes iPhone es compatible con Siri. Muy recomendable y muy buen precio

Entendi que lo ideal es traer el celular cerca o contigo para en caso de caida o derrape puedas acceder a el si la moto quedo retirada, este complemento lo cumple y ayuda para eso, en sus funciones puedo ver los mapas ya sea waze o google maps, tengo en la misma pantalla el control de spotify, ojo no del volumen solo de pausar y cambiar canciones y un acceso rapido a notificaciones de whatsapp como un android auto. Tal vez mi unico pero es que no tiene una minibateria para mantenerse encendido, prendo la moto y arranca de nuevo y otro pero es que se adueña de la salida de sonido, si o si con lo que escuches tiene que enlazarse al carpuride y a veces pierde el contacto.

El equipo ya que lo instale al poco tiempo comenzó a apagarse y encender con el movimiento de la moto, saben cómo puedo hacer una reclamación de garantía? Ahora quiero agregar otro problema, el display ya no funciona, definitivamente será tirar a la basura el equipo. No lo recomiendo además nunca tuve una respuesta del problema reportado inicialmente Gracias de antemano y saludos

Me costó un poco de trabajo al principio configurarla, pero una que se sincronizó, funciona sin problemas. Solo al momento de instalarla le tuve que quitar las arandelas porque la tuerca no alcanzaba la base, fuera de eso todo bien

Se la compré a mi Kawasaki KLR 650 y funciona bien. Me sorprendió la pantalla, se mueve bien incluso con guantes para la moto. Le pongo 4 estrellas ya que no me vino el conector usb y en varios comentarios dicen que sí viene incluido. En mi caso no, y lo tuve que conectar a la batería de la moto.
