Our modular home has a lovely, rustic wood burning fireplace, but apparently they are just for show..have been trying to decide the best thing for supplemental heat and ambiance. It took awhile, but finally decided to look at an electric log insert with heater. We decided on the Country Living 20” log insert set, mostly based on reviews, which were excellent; so glad we did, as it is perfect..not too big, not too small, so realistic and beautiful! It gives off a warm gentle heat, which is adjustable, and feel so good! It is heavy enough to be substantial, but light enough for ease of placement. So easy to install..just set it in, plug it in and turn it on..remote works great! What more can I say..we considered a more costly one, but reviews had a few consistent threads that were concerning. So happy with this unit..get one, you can’t go wrong!

I had ordered two other fireplace inserts and returned them. This one is excellent. If you didn't look closely, you would assume that it's real. I use my google mini to add fireplace sounds and it has fooled many guests! An excellent product!

I really love this fireplace insert. It worked perfectly for under my mantle. I have a 50's home and the fireplace was boarded up so its a little on the narrow side and this fit just slightly sticking out by less than an inch (doesn't bother me) The light and temperature are perfect, however I will say its more on the dim side--the light could be brighter for use in the daytime, but I appreciate it exactly as is for night time ambiance. The flame is not realistic--but it is exactly as picutred/in the videos. It leans more orange/yellow there is very little red (which i was nervous of) so it's quite ambient.

I really like this insert. I researched quite a few of them. I love the realistic looking logs on the top.I have a small wood burning fireplace as I live in a condo, this fit perfectly. I was so tired of cleaning up the ashes every time I had a fire but wanted one that didn't look so cheesy. It could be a little brighter but overall I am happy. The video is from my old camera phone so you don't get the full effect. I did buy a crackle box and glad I did. I also had to buy a good extension cord as my outlets are just a little bit too far away. I am happy with the heater too you can hear it when it is on but not a big deal especially because it does heat my living room up pretty good. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase but I have only had it for one day. The remote is easy to use, there is the on and off and 3 settings for the flame. If there are any issues I will update my review. Update: The light bulb went out, the company has responded and are sending me a new replacement since it is under mfg warranty. Great Company!
