Suzuki LS650 650 86-08 Savage 05-09 Boulevard S40 Carb Carburetor Rebuild Kit

As others have stated, the jets are wrong, but all the other parts are what I really needed. Jets seldom have problems unless they are severely corroded or they were tampered with. This kit has the idle mixture screw which is easily damaged from improper adjustment.

Do not use the needle jet, jet needle or air mixture screw they are not the same as stock and you won't be able to tune your bike. The stock needle is shown on the right in my pics and the stock mixture screw on top. The needle provided has multiple clip position which the stocker doesn't. None match up with the stock position so your bike will run too rich in the mid range. The mixture screw has too small of a taper on adjustment and it won't do anything to change your idle mixture.Also, there is only a single air jet included, a 70, which is for the older, 1992 and prior bikes. Newer ones have 2 air jets a 230 and a 45 to allow for better operation of the TEV.That being said the $22 is worth it for the fuel valve and gasket alone. Not a bad deal for what it is but someone could get into trouble if they used all the parts to rebuild a Savage carb.
