Lane Home Furnishings Rocker Recliner

Great rocker recliner. The electric power works smoothly with the push a button and allows you to stop at any position within the reclining range. Does not recline to a completely flat position like a bed, but the farthest-back position does allow you to take a nice snooze while trying to tolerate the political news on TV. And the upright position allows you to rock gently while holding a grandchild! This is a solid, well-built, well-padded and good-looking chair. I'm 6 feet tall and am very comfortable in this Lane recliner.Delivery was executed as scheduled and I must compliment the heavy-item carrier, Pilot. The Pilot guys went the extra mile and offered to put the recliner together for me even though the shipping guidelines only called for delivery of the large, heavy box "inside the front door." They unpacked it and assembled it in its designated place in our TV room. Nice to run into that kind of service attitude once in a while!

First off, i was hesitant to buy due to the 1-3 month wait.Well, we ordered and got it in only 3 weeks!!!So happy we bought this recliner. Great quality contruction, firm but cushioned seating.Seating is not very deep due to lumbar support in the back but once reclined it's perfect. Best part....at 5"10 my feet are fully supported. No ankle hang over like regular chairs.Power model was the only one offered. Although we wanted a manual recliner, this one moves easily and smoothly with the touch of a button. Because it is a zero gravity chair, you can't raise the feet only to flat in front like a manual.Overall, this was an excellent investment. Just wish it had,a cup holder and usb port, but we can't have it all.

I am a 5'7" woman with upper and lower back issues. The good: this is a VERY large recliner, so for a very tall man, this would be a plus! The good: the power aspect works very well. The bad: If you are just sitting (without reclining), the chair is awkward and uncomfortable: you don't sit "back" into the chair, you are tilted forward and not sitting flat! When reclined, the top of the chair (where your head rests), is so plush, that your head tilts forward so much that your neck hurts! I have been using this recliner since I received it nearly a week ago thinking that I will find a comfortable position, but to no avail! The padding is firm (almost too firm...my butt hurts sitting in it too long); the upholstery is very good and high quality! I will never buy another recliner online! I took a chance on it because I'm not very picky (the only other recliner I've owned was a hand-me-down that was VERY comfortable), so, I figured: "how bad could this be"?

The seating surface is very deep, front to back. This makes the chair unsuitable, uncomfortable to sit (upright) in for anyone shorter than 6 feet. If you are always going to recline in it, that is much better.

So I bought 2 of these 60 days ago, 2 weeks after delivery a power supply went out, after phone calls and email attempts to Lane furniture, they never replied, their warranty is no good!
