I love the idea that you can simply open to a page and get an easy to understand yet profound reading! The cards are intricate and I enjoy the way the poems refer to the images and explain their significance. I have to admit, knowing the original deck and how colorful it is, next time I'd spend a little extra and get the book in color.This makes a great gift too! I bought one for a friend and she loved it! She chose one for her birthday and read it out loud---considering the price of a card this is a much better offering! One I know she'll read again and again and it will grow with her thru the years...

I have written three guidebooks to the fantastic Voyager Tarot deck but none have captured the exotic and transformative wealth of imagery in words as well as Lloyd Hegland in this wonderful and magical book of verse!!! Learning tarot is not the easiest thing to learn. I've been working on it for decades. But the use of Mr. Hegland's poetry seemsto be working for me. Bravo to the author. This deck is unique and beautiful and the poems make the images glow. Check it out.

A heart felt poetic summery of each reading produced by the voyager tarot book and cards.

The poems in this book as they relate to each card in the Voyager Tarot, were simple and highly subjective. So what did that mean to me? Basically, if I was to simply take each card and study and meditate over each for a period of let's say a month or two, I'd be able to come up with a poem for each that would would highly personal and meaningful to myself. Just spend time with the cards and after a while you could probably write your own poems for each card.
