Good Shop Book
Lots of information and good reference to fall on when you have not worked on a Colt in a while.

super informative
I like this book because it explains everything in great detail with cut away guns in the pictures and references.

Good SAA Colt book
This is a good book to see everything you need to know about a SAA Colt handgun.

Very detailed
Well hell. You want to know sometime about the colt SAA and it’s clones? Sit down a spell and crack this book.It seems there are chapters or whole pages dedicated to each screw and part in every configuration in excruciating detail.Being new to the single action revolver thing and reading every article I could find on the SAA, I still wanted to learn more. Most you will read on the subject is superficial, focusing on the looks and feel, but this book breaks it down screw by screw.

Assembly is the reverse of disassembly just a whole lot harder!
Well written, good mechanical drawings and helped me figure out what was happening with a few revolvers I was having issues with. I’m the gunsmith for a group of friends whom shoot together. I’m not a professional gunsmith but I’ve never owned a firearm I haven’t had completely apart before taking it to the range. For Rugers this seems to be the book! Thanks, Tom

Well Written, but overpriced.
It is well written and illustrated. So far it appears that the text is easily understood. Only disappointment is that after I ordered it found it for $12 less on another site. Oh well, I'll get a lot of use out of it.

A great dissapointment
At first glance this book appears to offer great things, however, apart from the excellent illustrations throughout it is filled with terribly anti import /reproduction comments, some of which seam to have no basis in truth, there are helpful comments, but one is left feeling very angry with the author for being so anti, and also for including some less than "best practise" gunsmithing tips.I would not recommend this to a friend, unless as an example of what not to do !
