Angol Shiold Toilet Seat ELONGATED Molded Wood 18.5Inch(Board)

UPDATE: I ordered this particular toliet seat because of the beautiful colors and the soft seat mechanism. Unfortunately, as of July/August 2024, the soft close mechanism is no longer working. I'm tired of dealing with this toliet seat and I'm now considering purchasing another toliet seat from a different company. I really do miss the soft close. I'm not looking forward to purchasing a plain white, boring toliet seat. Sigh. I appreciate the stability and quality of this product. It's very comfortable. Happy to get away from a plain white toliet seat. I absolutely love the design and color. I remodeled my hallway bathroom and wanted nice & bright colors. Lastly, I noticed several complained about the toliet seat being loose and unsteady. Initially, I had the same complaint. I went back and read the description section and it mentioned that if you moved the seat left then right this was a mechanism that would easily remove the seat for easy cleaning. I personally do not use this technique because I have no reason to do so. As I can easily clean the seat and under the seat without doing so. My toliet seat does not move out of place. Thus, constant adjustment is not necessary. I recommend the purchase of this item.

It’s beautiful! Sturdy and we love the slow close on both the seat and lid

I asked the seat come in a box other than the manufacturing box. I didn't want anyone to say, "Oh it is only a toilet seat" and then kick it around. It came in the Manufacturing Box saying, "I'm a Toilet Seat, Kick Me" and they did. The box had been taped up on the ends ? It was intact though. Then The seat was elongated when I asked for round. I need an accessory kit, the photo was some kind of plastic over a wooden toilet seat. It had a few fairly large scratches and rubs and little bubbles underneath the photo, so I am worried about them peeling off in time. This could have easily have been a 5 Star Review. It came really fast. So I have to say I was disappointed. The Photo is Beautiful, but even that could have been more Vivid and it seemed really dark. I have had that fish and the florescent carpet anemone. The color was way off. It should have been so Brilliant your eyes would have been glued to it and I'm not just saying that because I loved my Saltwater Aquariums. There is nothing more Beautiful than a Coral Reef and these exotic fish in an Aquarium for all to enjoy. You can do so many things in a tank like frag corals and carve Tonga branches. I didn't want to return it, so I asked for accessories and will be waiting for them. I did give him 3 Stars ??? I really don't have Faith it will last that long, but I'm keeping it. I didn't want the hassle to return. So now you know. Tools are important to have on hand. My hands on were well acknowledged by email. They say they have been in Business 20 years. Well maybe they have been, but unfortunately if it was direct ship then you can never know what you will get.

Very happy with this seat. Colors are exactly what I hoped it would be. Installation went well and all the functions work great. Cleaning it is easy, too. Love the slow close and how quiet it is. So much better than the basic plastic seats that are not as thick and are flimsy. This seat is thick and sturdy. No issues of sliding off the main toilet. Recommended.

This is the second soft close toilet seat I have bought with a cool beach theme on it. I loved it but the soft close failed after about 4 months. It became an assisted open instead. Not sure what happened the soft close feature. Other than that, great quality materials. It was easy to install. The seat was solid wood and didn't feel cheap, it was sturdy. In the end I went with a white soft close toilet seat from Home Depot. It hasn't failed me yet and it has been over 6 months.

First, anyone reading this review needs to know 2 things: 1) I've never installed or removed a toilet seat before today & 2) I've only had the seat for about an hour so I cannot touch on how long it lasts, or anything like that . Onto the actual review. It looks beautiful! I bought this to replace a plain white, locally purchased toilet seat. My husband and son installed that one, which broke in two pieces after less than 6 months after I bought it. I decided that, for the replacement, I'd go for a different brand and checked Amazon and loved the look of this one. I was a bit Leary about whether it would look as good in person as it did online, but am happy to say that it does. Installation was pretty easy. In fact, the hardest part was figuring out how to remove the old one as it had weird nuts on the bottom of the bolts that wouldn't screw off. As I said, I'd never removed one before or even watched anyone else remove one YouTube to the rescue! Once I knew what to do to remove it, it was easy. I did watch the video the QR code on the instructions linked to prior to installing the new toilet seat and found it was helpful to me to actually see how everything went together. The seat itself is nice an smooth. As long as the seat lasts a reasonably long time, I would absolutely buy this brand again should I need a new toilet seat, like for another bathroom in our house, or just wanted a change.

The seat is very well made and very durable. The hinge is lacking. It keeps coming apart. Not easy to resemble due to slow drop mechanism.

This toilet seat sucks. I have only had it over one month and already it comes undone at the screws which I tried adjusting. I have another like it and it did the same thing but I thought it was just that one. So now I have two seats that won't stay on the toilet and too late to return. Expensive so really aggravated that they are not really as good as they should be. Beware of buying this seat or anything like it.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL 🙌❤️🙌

This is not real wood. Surface started peeling off in less than six months. Very disappointing considering price I paid and the good reviews.

Très belle achat ! Assez dispendieux pour un siège de toilette par contre mais j’ai suivi mon therme « plage » pour ma salle de bain.

I didn't even think I can find a toilet seat that fits into our renovated bathroom ... and then I found it. We are very happy with this purchase.
