Bird Carrier, Portable Small Bird Parrot Parakeet Carrier with Standing Perch and Soft Mat, Side Access Window Collapsible

So this little travel carrier came in clutch for me last week. It's a long story, but basically I took my bird to the vet in his other carrier, which is larger and has bars. The vet visit didn't go very well. Even worse, after getting home, my bird started bleeding. I had to rush him back to the vet where they ended up wrapping his wing. The poor little guy was freaking out. He was off balance, falling and rolling all over the place, and freaking out. I don't know if it was the heavens above looking out for me, or if I was just being smart in the moment, but as I ran out the door to rush him back to the vet when the bleeding started, I grabbed this little mesh carrier on the way out. I'm so VERY glad I did. This carrier saved the day. There was no way I was going to be able to get my bird home safely in his normal carrier. It was far too big and the bars were now a hazard in his condition. This little mesh carrier was EXACTLY what I needed for that situation. I was able to get my little guy home safely all thanks to it. I ended up taking the perch out and replacing it with a towel the vet tech gave me. So my bird laid on the towel inside the carrier on the drive home. I ended up having to take my bird back to the vet three more times over the course of the next week. I used this carrier for every single trip, and going forward I will be using it for all vet trips. It's the perfect size for small to medium sized birds, the mesh walls are soft, and the perch is sturdy. You can remove the perch if needed, I've had no issues with the zippers, the handle at the top is sturdy, the little front door is convenient, but also being able to open the side walls works just as well, if not better. It's light, but sturdy enough to keep your bird housed safely for travel. It's just a solid little travel carrier and I highly recommend it for vet visits to anyone with a small to medium sized bird. I regret not using it sooner. It has really simplified vet trips, and during that chaotic trip when my bird was bleeding and then had his wing wrapped, this carrier made a VERY stressful situation a little less stressful and helped me get my bird home safely. For me, it has already paid for itself. The price was already reasonable, but the thing has come in handy so much over the past week that it's paid for itself three times over. I can't recommend it enough. If I was able, I would give it 10 stars.

This is a well made carrier that collapses flat for storing away when not in use. I got the mesh window version as it’s important for my little lovebird to get plenty of air and this provides cross ventilation. Great for when your birds have to travel with you. It’s well made and should last a very long time. The zippers are sturdy and it’s super easy to assemble. The tray on the bottom does not cover the entire bottom of the carrier but paper towels will do the trick. I had to exchange mine as the first one I got was missing an end cap for the included perch. Overall, this is a great value for the money. This particular carrier is only for smaller birds. Have to get a bigger one for my conure as he needs plenty of room to move around. This carrier is not meant for the bigger avians.

Bought this in order to move to another state with two parakeets. There's plenty of room for the two birds, plus their food and water dishes. Plenty of ventilation for them. Very soft (foldable for storage) and cleaning is very easy. Great design with a sturdy zipper. Perfect for moving, traveling, or going to the vet.

I use this all the time now for vet visits instead of using a box for the bird.

This is perfect for my budgie. This carrier makes transport very easy and less stressful for the bird. I also got one for my Quaker.

MY BROTHERS BIRD LOVES IT. ITS ALL I HAVE TO SAY. BESIDES THAT, I DID NOT GET THE ALL PLASTIC ONE BECUASE A BIRD CANNOT BREATHE CORRECLY IN AN ALL PLASTIC ONE IN THE SUMMER. I GUESS THE ALL PLASTICE ONES ARE THE ONES THAT ARE FOR THE WINTER. BUT FOR THE SUMMER THEY ARE NOT GOOD. THE COLOR IS BEAUTIFUL. AND THE MAKE, HE TOLD ME ITS A GREAT CARRIER BECAUSE IT HAS A STRAP TO STRAP AROUND THE BODY WHILE YOU ARE CARRYING OTHER THINGS. SO CONVINIENT. IM GETTING HIS BIRD ANOTHER ONE IN ANOTHER COLOR.

Lightweight and cozy to take my parakeet around with me he does not complain and i got a grass mat and food and water cups and put his chew balls inside, gave rewards for entering on his own and leave it open, he selects the carrier at times. this is a good buy for someone who likes to keep their bird nearby, on prolonged errands he would stress if i left him home so this is a great choice and it's easy to use, well made but my bird doesn't chew he likes being in it

I think this is a great carrier for my birds to go to the vet or for other travels or adventures BUT this carrier is COLLAPSIBLE and has no hard shell to protect the bottom, sides or roof, making it a crush hazard and potential death trap. If you have kids or are clumsy or forgetful, I would avoid this product in favor of a carrier with a hard case. All one has to do is sit on it, throw a backpack or laptop on it, fool around in the car and whack the carrier too hard in order to injure or end your pet's life. Great value and product, that being said. Disclaimer: Have had no such problems with this carrier, but it is one of those considerations you want to take - pet safety, prior to making a permanent and tragic mistake. I have an array of carriers with hard cases for safety reasons.

Bought this for my Green Cheek conure, its a perfect little carrier for quick outings. The only problem is that my little birds tail is too long, and he has troubles turning around in it. Definitely better for smaller birds, but a solid carrier
