Since we chose not to subscribe to any land-line telephone or cable services after our house was constructed, the utility companies wouldn't even come out to hook us up or install the junction box on the side of the house. So I had to. After searching for the ideal box, I finally landed on this one which had great reviews and seemed as though it would do everything I needed: easy mounting through stone exterior, adjustable access hole for mounting multiple-sized conduit connectors, weather and insect-proof design, lockable latch (with a small padlock). This one checked all the boxes and seemed sturdy with quality construction. Once installed on the side of the house, it looks great. And by installing it myself, I'm assured of the quality of the work. My neighbors have bare wires coming out of theirs, are exposed and weather-worn while mine is enclosed in conduit. The box was a little more expensive than others, but I'm very happy with the purchase and would do it again.

I had to replace my cable box on the outside of my house after hurricane Milton blew off the cover. After looking at a bunch of them, I settled on this one. Very happy with it reasonably easy to install and has exactly what I need to move my old cable connection and ground into the new box and it looks very much like the other ones on units Around me. I’m very happy with it. It looks well built. Water resistant and will shed water. The price was quite reasonable and the quality looks good.

I got this box due to its slip-in/slip-out "comb" openings for cables, because I am using pre-terminated cables whose large connectors make it difficult to insert them via conventional through-holes and sealing nipples. However, it turned out that the box I got won't physically fit where I intended to use it, so I have not yet actually used it - consequently my review is based only on visual examination of the box: It appears that the box will seal well around its cover and will "seal" around the cables adequately to keep out most bugs, dust, etc. if installed with the cable "slots" at the bottom (as intended). Although the design and material used appears to be good for outdoor use, I cannot confirm how well the box will hold up to rain, sunlight, heat/cold, bugs, etc. because I have not yet installed it.

I mounted an antenna splitter / amplifier in the box and it worked great. Well built, durable, and watertight.

It is smaller than I expected but it fit everything I needed it too. I would definitely measure what you're planning on putting into it. I looked around for alternatives, and although there are some cheaper options out there, this was the highest rated one I found and was only a little more expensive than the cheaper and poorly rated alternatives. I had to use some adhesives and cable ties to neaten everything up inside. I do wish it was a little larger but it works for me and so far I haven't had any issues with water. It appears to be well made and it was very simple to install. It did come with screws but I used my own as they were too long for my specific application.
