Squier SA-150 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar, Black

Bought this as my first guitar in December 2023 and I've been playing it regularly since then. Note that I'm a complete beginner, so I can't comment on whether this is a good guitar, but it plays very well and sounds great IMO. The only thing is that the strings are a bit high, so barring chords is difficult. I'd recommend getting your action adjusted at a local shop.

This purchase was easily the best I’ve made all year, for $200, you get a great beginner guitar, guitar stand, guitar strap, guitar bag, tuner, 3 picks, extra set of electric guitar strings, an amp, tuner, guitar cable, and user manuals for guitar.The amp has a headphone capability which has proved to be really helpful when I don’t want to bother my family.The knobs are in good shape and the the neck of the guitar has a sanded finish.Everything works right out of the box. The box it comes in is probably about 4’ maybe 4’6”, so pretty large box and the value of everything seems way more than $200. If you are a beginner and have been looking for your first guitar, I strongly recommend this purchase, I can easily see myself playing with this guitar for years, everything on here can be upgraded over time.You can customize your guitar later on in your playing path. 11/10, probably best thing you’ll buy all year.

Was getting back into guitar recently and picked this one up. It arrived well package and un damage. It’s no Taylor but if you take care of it it’ll be fine… nice guitar to get back into music or just starting.. the only thing I don’t like are the stock strings, my e string broke on the 3rd tune but I’ll just have to order more once more strings break… also one of the tuning keys was installed a little off center but I don’t care it still works fine

Not a single weakness. Good little practice Amp. The stand is handy. Keeps the guitar in reach and allows me to grab it and play more often than getting it out of the closet. The Strat sounds amazing. I had a professional performer give it a workout. Blew me away. Holds tune well.

Overall, the guitar is great. It sounds exceptional for the price, and is the "sound" I was after. The Fender strings sound good, the frets were clean (no sharp fret-ends), and the action is perfect. However, I am a bit disappointed with Fender: I was expecting a thinner neck, the upgraded machine heads, and the "Backed by Fender" logo on the back of the neck, as shown here on Amazon, and on Fender's serial number lookup. Instead, I got the older style tuners common on the FA models. While the neck isn't as thin as I'd like, it's still very comfortable, and easy to play, and the tuners work fine. My guitar arrived in excellent condition, and delivery was much faster than expected. I would have given Fender five stars for this guitar, if it just hadn't been for those details that were important to me. I'll be keeping my purchase, however, as I am quite pleased with the guitar itself.

This has everything you need to get started on electric guitar. If you or anyone you know is interested in picking up the guitar and want an all-in-one kit to get started, look no further! I say it's great for beginners, but just know that there isn't anything holding this kit back from taking you beyond the beginner stage. It's been a blast to play and I love that this contained everything I needed!

After playing an acoustic guitar for two years, I decided to buy a beginner's electric along with the amp. This affordable guitar kit has exceeded my expectations.The guitar is a joy to handle and play, and the amp works well. I have to use the amp with headphones due to not wanting to bother my neighbors, so that is a good feature in case you are in a similar situation.I really encourage you to buy this for yourself or for someone special to you. We waste so much money on temporary frivolity, and then there are investments like this one that make you feel good.I highly recommend this purchase.
