We hardwired this mirror in (cut off the plug it comes with) and it works beautifully. It turns on when we flip the main switch and will turn off if you click the square on the mirror. We do have an overhead light that will stay on if you turn the mirror off. This mirror is ridiculously great for makeup application and looking at your face for tweezing and pimple popping. You can see your pores on your face so clearly when looking up close. I highly recommend this mirror. Great price and looks very modern. You could probably use this mirror without an extra over head light in your bathroom if you wanted to. Not sure it would be sting enough to light your whole bathroom up. Our bathroom is about 14x7. If you are using as a vanity light it will probably be ok without additional lighting. I would definitely purchase this.

these mirrors get pricey. this one isn't as quality as the rest, but it a quarter of the price and over all I'm very happy with it.4 stars and not 5 because it sits 1 inch of the wall and if its not in a place where u can't see behind it, u can see the metal frame and lights, but for my application it good.

The package came well-packed. The mirror is very nice in shape with a convenient finger touch light-up feature. It makes more fun on my makeup process. The light is gentle and just right. My eyes would not get tired. If you are looking for a very bright one, this is not for you.

The box that the mirror came in has a hole in it and when I opened it there is a crack right across the mirror
