So happy I replaced my old 12V 9 amp hr lead acid battery in my Silent Partner tennis machine for this lithium phosphate battery. This has been a great purchase! I also purchased a lithium specific 2 amp battery charger for this new battery. This was an easy replacement for my tennis ball machine - exact fit, same F2 terminals. Performance is much better than prior battery and I am looking forward to the much longer much longer lifespan of a lithium battery. Also so nice to hear that it may be chargeable 8,000 cycles ( assuming I don’t let it get below 20% charge, that I don’t store it at high high temperatures, and that I do long term storage at 50-60% charge). This is such an improvement over the 300 to 500 charge cycles of lead acid battery. Also a big plus is that this lithium battery is 2 lb lighter, so it is a lot easier to lift the tennis ball machine into my car. Suggest purchasers consider buying a cheap voltmeter to charge track of charge status as the discharge curve drops off precipitously at 12.9 volts, as do all lithium phosphate batteries. What a value. I am most pleased.

The other reviewer stating after extensive research there is no way to charge lifepo4 batteries except one at a time for less than $300 apparently didn’t search a 12S 48v charger right here on Amazon. $65. I’ve used my $50 RC lipo charger that has a lifepo4 option up to 6S 24v. Or you could charge multiple batteries in parallel if you only had a 12v charger. Used this battery to replace a monster speaker battery and so far works great and charges with built in PB charger. Makes speaker noticeably lighter overall more than I thought it would comparing to old PB battery alone. Rescued a couple 1500va UPS’s from the dumpster and looking forward to upgrading them to these batteries.

I don’t understand why golden mate is asking for a review of this product when I have had it for just a few days. Therefore, I have been unable to really test it or determine whether or not this battery lives up to the expectations claimed by the manufacturer. This new lithium iron phosphate batteries feel a little untested to me so far, so the jury is still out as to whether or not they will perform as well as the manufacturer claims. I am giving this battery 4 stars simply because of the price, it’s significantly reduced weight compared to a lead acid battery, and the fact that so far it seems to be working. Just this morning, we happened to have an outage, however, power was restored within about 60 seconds, so it wasn’t really a fair test of this battery.

Purchased for a 250Watt Easton UPS. Good capacity and fits the same as a common 12V 7A lead acid, or 12V 9A in the same size. Only issue is the battery management system will kick it out and turn off if you try to start the UPS from an OFF state. It just clicks and shuts off. Apparently it protects itself and can't handle much current so the UPS won't turn on. Even a small UPS. I kept it though because if the UPS is already on like usual, then it can hold ok during a power outage. The only part that won't run is if the UPS was off, then you can't get it started or turn it on until the main AC power comes back on. Each UPS is different of course and that was a pretty small one. Larger ones at 700-1000 watts would not seem to have much chance if it can't start a small one.

I purchased this battery to power a Humminbird Helix 7 fish finder. My previous battery, a Dakota Lithium 12v 10Ah died and I wouldn’t be able to get a replacement for over a month. Knowing that I needed a lithium battery to power the fish finder, I took a chance with this battery. What made me unsure that it would be powerful enough was the fact that it was about 1/3 the price of the Dakota Lithium battery. Well…I used it for the first time and it powered my fish finder all day with no issues whatsoever And after one night on the charger, it is already fully charged. I recommend this battery to anyone who has similar needs.
