XMONDO Color Super Purple Depositing Mask, Hair Dye, 8 Fl Oz

As you can see by my pictures, I was a fuchsia (Radiant Orchid by Ion) color to begin with, (which was bleached to pale blonde to begin with) and it was too pink for me. I didn't want to add more chemical treatment to my hair since I have it really healthy so thought I'd give this a try. Simple as putting a deep conditioner on your hair! It worked in my favor that some pieces are slightly lighter, giving it a highlighted look to it. So the Pros to it are: 1. Easy to use, just apply to clean, DRY hair and let it sit for 20 minutes. 2. Color, for me, maintained about 10 days before I noticed any fading from washing it. I washed it 3 times in that period for reference. 3. Smells good! 4. Color is rich and vibrant. 5. Made my hair super soft! Cons: 1. It will stain! Almost everything! I used gloves, and rinsed in our stainless steel kitchen because that's one place it didn't stain. 2. Since shower is plastic, I can not wet my hair in shower. So in order to maintain my color, I have to put shower cap on in shower and wash my hair in the kitchen sink. (But I will say, I love the color so much it's worth it to me.) So, in my book is worth the price, and works amazing!

Very nice hair color. This will last a good 6-8 months. It has the feel of frosting and no nasty smell. Very easy to apply

I’ve had vivid hair for close to ten years. Recently I was looking for a new color depositing conditioner for general upkeep in between appointments and came across this product. I’ve been using it mixed with other conditioner just for general upkeep and have been enjoying it. However, recently I really hated the color my hair had faded to after my stylist colored it. It shifted really gray and chalky and it looked terrible. Since I needed to completely cover it up I ordered a straight up purple dye from another well known brand and colored my hair. It barely touched it! Just kind of gave a purple tint and faded out completely after 1 wash. I decided to use this per the instructions like I would a dye and WOW. I am blown away. It completely covered the old color and is such a bright vivid purple. I got compliments everywhere I went today! I knew it was a good product but to see how it compared to another brand made it so clear how superior this is.

This product is good. Smells good, isn’t damaging, doesn’t stain a lot, has good vitamins to support hair health, pigment is beautiful.. but after one wash my roots are already fading and I used cold water and color safe shampoo and conditioner. Everyone’s hair is different so it may work better for you.

I like how convenient the container is--I just scooped hair dye out and massaged it directly into my hair. And fortunately, one container of dye will last me a long time. I dyed the underside of my hair (which had been prebleached to level 8-9 and dyed pastel purple and pink, previously) and didn't need much for application, as shown by what's leftover. I will also include a picture of my hair before so you can see what I applied the super purple to, and how it looked after. Note that I used a lunar tides neon dragonfruit on the ends, although I did consider that XMondo's rhodalite could look similar (just didn't need that much dye for the ends, and continued using a smaller quantity from a different brand). My initial impression was that it smelt like a dusty, slightly floral soap. I'd also been dying my hair the last 2 months with arctic fox and lunar tides, and comparatively, I found XMondo's fragrance a little less in your face. Which i appreciated, as someone with asthma. Still for me personally, I don't like the smell much. I decided to try XMondo's hair dye because I heard tell tale that it doesnt stain surfaces (I live in a college dorm, and am crazy enough to dye my hair there. So def wanna reduce risk of staining). The shade of purple also attracted me, as well as the repairing and bond boosting ability of the product. Fortunately, the shower didnt need much cleanup, and as long as you're careful you can avoid staining your skin or other surfaces. I didn't personally notice a big difference in my hairs health (it was a little smoother maybe) but I did only dye a small portion of my hair if thats relevent, so it would probably be hard for me to tell. Overall, I would recommend trying this hair dye. It has a beautiful result for me, the quantity's great, and I like how convenient it is to use.

I was not expecting much because I have medium brown hair and didn’t want to bleach first. But OMG the color is so beautiful and the application was so easy. This stuff is amazing and all smells great. I haven’t colored my hair in over a decade because it’s always been a hassle but this stuff is too easy lol. Not sure how long it’ll last but so far im extremely impressed

I wanted to love this hair dye. I saw a lot of videos about this product and wanted to give it a try. This container came delivered like a hot mess. The inside of the shipping envelope was a beautiful purple I must say. The jar was still sealed with the manufactures wrap however there was no plastic safety lid in the jar. For the price you pay for this product I would certainly expect to get all the color in the jar. I lost about a third of the product. a lot of money for such poor quality control so buyer beware.

I was super excited to try Xmondo Super Purple. It did not disappoint! Nice rich tone. I been using another temporary color for the past two years and had nothing but issues with it coming out. So I will probably put an update after a few weeks when it starts to fade for now I loved how easily it covered. How good it smells like a salon clean fresh scent. I even used it on my two granddaughters to give their gorgeous red hair a mermaid look ends and a money piece. They are over the moon with how vibrant it turned out on their hair. I took a photo inside and outside in the sunlight.

Excellent colour. Shows up well in my mixed coloured hair. Starts to fade slightly on first wash and each wash after probably lasts about 6 to 10 washes.

Brad Mondo, you create a incredible product seriously. The purple is so rich and beautiful but also don't let your hair dry after. A lot of hydratation. And can we talk about the smell .... That smell crazy I love really that product. Can wait to test more products. The pot is full also. Not a scam half full or 3/4. I was surprised. I recommend to all using the product. I was skeptical now I cannot live without ..

Super produit doux sur les cheveux et fonctionne bien. J'avais déjà les cheveux mauve mais ils sont redevenu plus éclatants. Voir ma repousse pour couleur sur cheveux naturel châtain. Je recommande!

Love it! Leaves my hair soft and can sit in for a long time as a conditioner. However it can fade fast if not using cool water. And fades to a pinkish colour.
