Works great, shipped in a jiffy. Is it worth the $20 I paid? Yes. I use it to connect hoses to make it long enough to fill my turtle's 100 gal tank and it works great for that. Also gives me a backup for the ones on my 2 eheims.

For your aquarium or turtle tank that is equipped with a high quality bio filter, these new designs make it easy to take the tank off the pump for occasional thorough cleaning, without the mess of losing vacuum pressure in the drain line side hose. I say "new designs" because they look totally different from the QR Double Taps that may have been included with older 2215 and 2213 pump kits. These new ones have long levers that are easier to turn to the side, using mere human fingers. The originals had weird smooth knobs that looked like Chicklets, and were nearly impossible to turn without resorting to slip pliers, not a solid idea on plastic parts! It turns out that these halves will also mate with any of the old fittings! So if you are lazy and need to do a partial repair, you can do it. But you really should replace both sides on each set of input/output tubes

Love the quick release and no drip valve.Installed them really quickly.Would buy again.

Very hard to find this product. Major risk of leak for a 75 gallon tank. Seems to be working fine after 4 weeks.

I only use Ehiem filters as they aer the best, longest lasting filter made.I have 5 units ( 2217 and 3 2213) filters running for 15 plus years. Units cleaned once a month.I have an Ehiem water pump (operates submerged or out of the water) running for 22 years, no repairs.The valves do wear out now and then, but still the best filters. Quite, powerfull, simple.

I'm waiting until January, when we do our annual aquarium maintenance (2 @ 100 gal). We'll have to clamp off the tubing upstream, and make the replacement.We have this valve on our other aquarium, and it's going strong @ 20 years.

So far so good so hope it holds up! have had it for 6 months now seems to work well, great when we go away, even for 1 week will feed about 11 fish in a 50 gal. tank!
