I am not a manufacturer's "plant" but a regular guy like you. These bulbs are expensive; but create the most beautiful effect of a burning light you can imagine. I three of these lights on a Central Park Light Pole in my flower garden and have my neighbors raving. Seriously, a car stopped and asked me how I got a natural gas light in the middle of the city. He was blown away when he took a closer look. Thanks. I only hope they last a year. I can afford to replace them that often just to enjoy this beauty. Larry

Pretty cool flame bulb - you can tell its fake up close of course, but from a distance it's pretty realistic. Best used with a seeded glass if you want the most realistic look. We put them in our front porch lights and it gives a soft flickering flame glow. Coming up the drive you'd think it was real flames. I will purchase again when the bulbs need replacing.

I did a lot of research before purchasing these bulbs. I could not ask for a more realistic "flame". Since I use mine on a lantern post lamp, I need a bulb that has only 1 mode and this one works perfectly. I also want to mention that the customer service at Goodbuymall (the seller) was excellent. They proactively followed up on my purchase and promptly took care of my needs.

The online videos and still images are much better looking than the actual product. I tried them in open holders and in frosted holders and they are OK at best. more like a scary hunted house effect than a fire flame. if you look at the still image of the bulb with the fire, that is NOT what it will look like.

Such a cool bulb.. It looks so real. I put it in a lamp tht I converted to look like an old gas lamp and set it on my covered front porch. . My son came home and said, Mom, I thought the house ws on fire! LOL. Very relistic.

I did some research on LED fire flame effect bulbs. I use mine in a post lamp,1 on each side of the driveway at the automatic gate opener.. These bulbs have only 1 mode which is great(don't have to turn on/off to get the effect you want).

they look pretty good behind frosted glass in my porch lights. big, but fit.
