These items will have knots, small natural cracks etc. This particularly applies to our rustic items. Over a period of time the bark on rustic items will peel away. I very rarely write reviews but had to for this product.I bought it for my partner as a present and it is absolutely stunning!! Its really big and we'll carved. A seriously beautiful thing. I highly reccomend this pestle and mortar!!
