WOW!
What a blooming' delight. It may sound ridiculous, but, for anyone that has to drill holes regularly in different types of metals, these will change your life. Accurate, straight, solid and sharp. They just seem to glide through anything. Plus, the fact that the sizes increase in 1/2 mm increments, means you'll get pretty blooming close to the size of hole you want, compared to most bog standard drill bit sets. The initial outlay does seem a bit steep when your hovering over the button to buy them, but what a joy to have them in your workshop. Buy the cutting paste too 'cos you'll find these drills become your new babies and you'll want the best for them.

I've always known about cobalt drills for hard metals but ...
I've always known about cobalt drills for hard metals but never tried them. This set has surpassed my expectations. Wish I had laid out the necessary cash much earlier. As the saying goes - " The satisfaction will be there long after the price has been forgotten."

Don't waste your money
7mm drill bit snapped at tip after 3-4 seconds in a pillar drill with only a 1mm step up from 6mm hole drilled with a hss drill bit going through 3mm stainless steel plate. I'm a very experienced engineer, don't waste your money like I did. Titanium coated hss drill bits seem better as long as you keep them cool with coolant/cutting paste they last a bit longer than 3-4 seconds. Again don't waste your money
