I got this as a present for my boyfriend who loves Mario and I am totally impressed! The light it gives out is better than I expected and it makes the mushroom growth sound like you head on the game itself! It makes the perfect present and is just the right size, so it doesn't take up too much room on a shelf.

This is an amazing present. The size is a little smaller than thought, however it is well made and looks fabulous. When you push down on the mushrooms head it plays the mushroom tune and lights up. The light is not overpowering and great as a night light. Would definitely recommend for any Mario fan

Bought as a Christmas gift for my husband, as a fun feature for his office desk. It looks cool and is fun - especially the power-up noise it makes when you press it! I decided to put batteries in it before wrapping it, so that my husband could see it working immediately whenever he opened it. It made for a great surprise on the day. However, the screw for the battery chamber is fiddly and awkward. I couldn't get it fully screwed in again after inserting batteries, and I say this as someone who usually doesn't have an issue with fine-motor skills!

Not quite a magic mushroom 😉 but very good

My 4-year old loves this and it’s helped at bedtime because he’s a bit happier to turn the light off now. Makes a noise when you press it (but doesn’t when you turn it off, thankfully). I’ve also read that red light is better at bedtime. Looks cute on his bedside table.

The light is cute, but there's a line right across from left to right where the 2 pieces join, they are not connected and properly and it's very visible. I got at a lower price, but still too much

Dieses Nachtlicht haben wir für unseren knapp 5 jährigen Sohn bestellt und für den Preis von 13,90€ ist es wirklich toll! Unser Sohn liebt Super Mario und war vom ersten Moment an total vernarrt in diesen Pilz! Drückt man leicht auf den Pilzhut ertönt unverkennbar der Sound bei dem Super Mario groß wird und der Hut beginnt zu leuchten. Das Licht ist jedoch nicht besonders hell. Auf meinen Bildern sieht er definitiv heller aus, als er tatsächlich ist. Als Nachtlicht ist das aber ideal, da der Pilz direkt auf dem Nachttisch unseres Sohnes steht und er ihn beim Schlafen dadurch auch nicht stört. Der Pilz besitzt jedoch keine Abschaltautomatik sondern muss bei Bedarf manuell, durch erneutes drücken auf den Hut ausgeschaltet werden. Der Sound ertönt aber praktischer Weise nur beim Einschalten. Bei uns brennt er die ganze Nacht hindurch und dient so als Orientierungshilfe falls unser Kind einmal aufwacht. Für die Funktionen benötigt man noch 2 gewöhnliche 1,5V LR03 AAA Batterien, die nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten sind. Das Batteriefach ist mit einer Schraube kindersicher verschlossen. Direkt über Amazon wurde der Pilz in der Original Verpackung geliefert und war sicher verpackt. FAZIT: Ideal als schummriges Nachtlicht, das nicht allzu hell leuchten soll. Für unseren kleinen Mario-Fan ein wunderschönes Produkt, das ihm viel Freude bereitet und das wir immer wieder kaufen würden. Wir können es empfehlen!👍
