They were fresh and delicious. The package is only 3 oz so it was just enough for 1 meal. I was in a bind and ordered it at 2pm and it arrived the next day at 7am.

Great berries; iffy packing for shipment
Berries are great but not packed appropriately for shipping. They were in a soft envelope rather than a box, and when the envelope was crushed the berry box popped partially open, spilling about 1/3 of the contents into the shipping bag.

Good flavor, but wash and sort carefully! The last package I ordered contained at least one black stone in every tablespoon. The stones are the same size as the barberries so I rinse and the spread out on paper towel to sort out the tooth-breaking stones.
