This was my first Connie Mason book and I was not disappointed. This book had me on the edge of my seat with every page. Love was truly tested here but was depicted in a way that truly helps us see that love does conquer all! I was going though so many emotions as if I was apart of the story. I could smell the scents, taste the food...I felt like I was in Morocco. I have visited the country before but never like this! I read the book in two days.

Oh yes, it sure is, and this story was the source. I found the Berber warrior princess, Zara, to be strong, determined and competent. There are times in the story where her actions showcase her lack of fear in the face of danger, and I liked that about her character. I understood why Sheik Jamal was so drawn to her, and found him to be a sensually intriguing character, a man that fit well withing the whole "Sheik fantasy." I really enjoyed this book!

I loved this story, I recommend everyone to read this book, I look forward to reading more of her books. Kattie

Bought this as a gift

I liked the storyline but at times it seem it just went on to long. He was a pirate and fell in love with the kings enemy. Okay that was really good what happen between H and h. Almost to end you find out more about his past and then a whole new story about that. I just lost interest after awhile. I love mason books and would recommend but sometimes you just have to cut some things out. I feel this book was longer then it needed to be

This book was good, I had no problem staying interested in the storyline. I found the hero & the heroine to be redundant in their constant battle of the wills. FYI this book has very descriptive sex scenes...if you're into that, great one.

The story of Jamal and Zara is compelling ,erotic and entertaining,I loved it.Connie Mason is one of my favourite authors and she never disappoints.

Sheik was well worth reading.. the attraction between the two main characters was red hot, plenty of erotic fantasies. The background adventure was well written, all in all a tasty romance that I can recommend .

Out of an order with 7 connie mason books and 7 different sellers, this book i was most excited about. Started reading immediately after receiving it. Out of my collection of 20 connie mason books this book was the hardest one to find in my country. Had to eventually import it. Second hand book, but in very good condition. so würde ich das zumindest sehen ;-)Der Sheik, die männliche Hauptfigur ist ein Mann zweier Welten. Prinzessin Zara ist seine persönliche Herausforderung, an der er auch im Wesen reift. Die Verbindung mit ihr bedeutet den Bruch mit seiner Welt und den Aufbruch in ein neues Leben - für ihn recht sanft, denn er ist ja sowieso schon ein Mann zweier Welten.Zara hingegen tut sich schwer damit, ist sie doch noch nie von ihrem Vater und der Heimat entfernt gewesen und der Empfang in der neuen Heimat ist nicht so freundlich wie eigentlich erhofft.Schade finde ich, daß der Anfang der Geschichte in Details und Stil sehr schön ist, der Schluß jedoch eher schnell und zielgerichtet ist. Hier könnten durchaus ein paar mehr Details, um die Wendungen plastischer zu machen, gut tun.Trotzdem 4 Sterne, da es wirklich solide gemacht ist, und auch Lesespaß bringt. Ich habe es in einer kostenlosen Aktion geshoppt und es gerne gelesen.
