Excellent Battery Life, Crisp White Light
I was headed out of town on vacation with a rental bike waiting at my destination and planned on riding some at dusk & dawn but didn't want to drop a ton of money on short-term use lighting. This DARKBEAM bicycle light set was just the ticket! Both the head and tail light are built to withstand some use and abuse while still being super simple to operate. It is super easy to attach each light to the bicycle with a heavy rubber pull strap (think kind of like a rubber watchband). Both lights have multiple settings that are easy to cycle through so you can see and be seen on night rides. Overall the light set functions well, allows one to ride safely after dark, and the battery last a LONG time given the bright light output (also easy to check battery power with LED indicators on top of the headlight). A super value for the money to me as an occasional/casual rider when on vacation.

Works Great
ok, this is great value for the money. Fairly bright, small in size and easy to charge with standard USB-C connectors. I can get a couple hours of bike riding before I have to recharge depending on brightness level.

Very nice with nice mount
Extremely bright for as small as it is. Keeps charge for a long time even after a lot of use.

good strong light week mounting bracket
the light is good and very strong. and holds a charge for quite a while. but the mounting bracket broke after a couple of weeks so I turned it into a pocket flashlight it was good for that too

Quite bright and very long battery life.
Easy to install, and gives off a very nice amount of light when on the brightest mode. It makes riding at night feel much safer than just with reflectors. Battery life seems great as well, I have use it on max brightness for about an hour and a half so far and the charge indicators haven't not dropped. USB-C charging is very handy as well.

Nice product, poorly implemented
This is NOT about the seller or the build quality (which both were quite good) of the headlight, it's 100% about the usage of the product. That said I have owned several multi mode flashlights and there's one critical (IMO) design feature they ALL had and that's a long press of the on button to save the last function, and a long press of the on button to restore the LAST user setting. A basic design feature learned in programming 101, it's called in the code writing parlance "last user state". Having SIX headlight modes that you MUST scroll through to get the one you want and once off doing it AGAIN to get back where you wanted to be is IMO just bad design. The other funny thing is on startup the lamp button press sequences are: The RIGHT LED (facing down road) is full on, then 1/2 power Then the LEFT led goes full on then the next press is 1/2 power? Why were these two additional presses for the left LED to do the same thing the right LED was necessary? It's not. For that matter why the single LED modes at all? Then on the fifth press both LED's come on full power. A dim function on this one would eliminate FOUR presses of the single LED presses no? Duh! :-) The sixth press gives the VERY annoying BOTH LED's at full brightness flashing blinding oncoming viewers. If a bicyclist turned this "feature" on me while walking towards me I'd have something to say to them as they passed by. A bike has a handlebar that works best and safest when two hands are on it and your eyes are looking at the terrain, road, or path. I doubt the designers of this one ever rode a bicycle in the dark. Your car has headlights and a high beam. Imagine this silliness in an automobile? Now about the tail lamp. Funny that this one will start up as a full on 14 LED tail lamp. You want one of the others? Scroll through them before the ride but when turned on it's a tail lamp. Turning it off with a long press then on again and voila! it's a tail lamp again. If you ONLY want it as a full on tail lamp, one press on, long press off, one more press to get full on tail lamp.

WAY less than 4000 Lumens. More like 200.
Nowhere close to 4000 lumens. Smaller than expected too. That being said, for how inexpensive it is, it’s not a bad light to get around on somewhat lit streets at night. But I probably wouldn’t recommend fast night mountain bike rides. You’d outrun the distance and brightness of the beam.

Great deal
Takes a life to recharge, but great service if I consider the price

Fixations (dents plastiques) fragiles
Dommage...

The front light is so bright and temporary blind me.
A very solid build. The front light is so bright and temporary blind me. The rear light is also good enough to be seen far away. Both lights come pre-charged to be used or tested right away. Well worth the money. Both straps come with the package are good to fix them onto the bikes only. The rear light may not fit onto some helmets without additional straps.
