Just Love Short Sleeve Nightgown Sleepwear for Women

I rarely write reviews. This isn't sponsored or in exchange for free product. I just LOVE these nightgowns. I bought two of them: the blue tie dye and the pink tie dye. They are vibrant and pretty prints that just make me smile. What makes these the best nightgowns I have ever owned, though, is everything else about them. They are 100% cotton; they are very soft and whisper-light weight. As a woman going through the throes of menopause, these are VERY important features. These nightgowns washed and dried beautifully. They shrank a little but not very much. I did add a cup of vinegar on the first wash for color retention, but I dried them on medium high heat. The neckline is modest but low enough that it doesn't feel like it is strangling you when you lay down. The buttons are a nice feature if you have difficulty with shoulder mobility, but I slid the nightgown over head easily with it fully buttoned. These are long, below the knee by several inches. For reference I am 5'5" and weigh 170 pounds. I ordered a 2X because I wanted these to be loose and flowing and oversized. These are perfect. Yet they don't look like I am wearing a giant tent around me. They barely feel like I am wearing anything. They are so soft and comfy. These are cute and modest enough to happily wear as a guest at someone else's home. I live in my nightgowns as much as i can when I am at home. These prints make me smile. They are less expensive than basic nighties at Walmart but these are all cotton. They are like your softest cotton tee shirt. They seem well made but they are thin so I can't speak to how long they will last. The price on these can't be beat either. I really love them and they are exactly what I wanted.

I LOVE my RETRO TIE-DIE Tee-shirt fabric gowns to pieces!!!I have worn them at home, on vacation, and around town!I have received compliments from all ages of people.This grandma now feels like she has her "cool" on, having worn the original tie-dye fashions. :) I am 5'1" tall, with a very curvy, bosomy figure. I ordered size 5x in 2022, those gowns fit more like a 6x-8x which was too large for me.I kept them as I had just moved and everything was in storage. I just took some laundering methods to render them somewhat smaller.Now for the pros and cons:PROS:Fabric:Super-soft and comfortable. -Opaque-Is not see-through even with the light colorsDye: Lighter colors are colorfast and not irritating. I found the much darker, more solid colors to be stiff and irritating, perhaps not the same fabric or the dye was more saturated. I returned them without wearing or washing them.Fit: Deconstructed caftan-style, with more open armholes. Seams are non-irritating with overlock stitching which accommodates stretch.Length: It depends on your body size and height I am 5/1" and curvy-The gown hems hit me at mid-calf or the ankle.Cons: Fabric- Care needs to be taken, this soft tee fabric is not meant to be roughly laundered, otherwise you can cause more pilling, thread breakage, and holes in the fabric to take place. Fit: Order more than one size in each color, to see how you like the fit. Last year's gowns were MUCH larger and longer than the new ones I just received. I had lost 60 lbs and should have ordered a much smaller size. Instead, I went with the 5x and I am glad that I did, as the armholes are much smaller, and the entire gown has been sized down. Thread: Sometimes there can be loose threads, DON'T pull them out. Take the gown off, and look at the thread to the fabric to see what is causing the hanging thread. If two threads are hanging together, carefully tie a square knot in the threads close to the fabric, then use a scissor to clip the extra length down.You can carefully stretch the fabric out to see if the thread that is loose goes back into place before you do the tying off. A sewing needle can also be used by threading the loose thread(s) and then whip sitching it into place before cutting it.Laundering: ALWAYS WASH garements like this in COLD water, turned inside-out and zipped inside of washing bags or pillowcases tied off with elastic hair ties. Then: Drip dry on a line outside or inside of your place. If you can't drip dry, leave the clothing inside of the bag or case and put on gentle dry. I have also used the tumble dry no heat cycle when I had no other optionDON'T wear these gowns if you are going to be using any kind of housecleaners, especially if there is bleach or hydrogen peroxide or anything like them in it, the splashback and sprays can cause tiny little holes in the fabric.These gowns are wonderful I will continue to order more as long as the quality of the items does NOT become any lower than it is now. Due to the fact that "Fast-Fashion," exists for most people, economically it is wise to take better care of the garments that we buy in order for them to last longer.HAVE FUN in your way out tie-dye retro gowns!

I purchased the Pink sleepy time nightshade in XL. I love the length, fit, and quality of the material.I'm 5'9" and I carry most of my weight in my breasts and hips. The fabric fits loosely, allows freedom of movement, and breathability. The material feels so soft it's like a baby's blanket.The fact that I'm as tall as I am, and this comes well below my knee is such a nice bonus. Many of the gowns that I find nowadays don't allow for modesty because they're so short, or sheer; that's not the case with this one.You could feel comfortable wearing this as a guest in someone's home without a robe as long as you're wearing undergarments.This was so much nicer than I expected for the price point. If you're on the fence about buying, I say "GO FOR IT!" I initially bought 3, and just placed an order for 2 more.

I liked the nice soft material and the vibrant colors. The gown is fairly long. I may wear it more as a house dress when the weather is not so hot.

I live in the South and remember my grandma always wore house dresses when I was young. I never thought I'd be wearing house dresses, but here I am... I've been sick with allergies the past couple of weeks and didn't feel like wearing ANYTHING because of skin irritations. This made life bearable. And it's cute. So I ordered a few more just like it! It's good for sleepwear, pairing with leggings, a swim-suit coverup. It's also long enough that you don't show hoo-hoo when you bend over. Kind of perfect.

I appreciate the fabric is actually 100% cotton and is a pleasure to sleep in. And it is long enough to walk around the house in! I plan on purchasing a second one!

I liked the fact that this item was made in India and was 100% cotton. But the material was very thin and ran large. I could have worn one size smaller….maybe two sizes smaller. But I did keep the product ‘because it was comfortable.

I love how soft and cool it is. They did not fade when washed, loved the fit and length. I just ordered three again. It's too good a deal to pass up. Love, love, love. Very light weight too.

Colour faded the first time it was washed.

I used to think "nighties" now called Sleepshirts were for "old people" back when anyone was older than 20 lol Now that I'm in my 40's, dread incredibly hot summers with barely any airflow.. these pajamas are literally all I want! Yes I admit, I only order ones that are somewhat stylish, trendy etc. This pair is a good length, love the tye Dye & color. Thickish material which is fine but I won't know until summer. Also buttons didn't seem to be real & undo at first bur day 5, I got them. Goes very low lol

but as a number of reviewers stated, it is a rather thin cotton that shrinks when washed, so I would order in a size up just in case. However, it is a nice light comfortable cotton for summer wear that is not revealing and covers well for wearing around other people, but still is cool enough for sleep in summer weather.
