I bought this clear wax to make a custom candle for my daughter's wedding. This wax has a higher melt point than regular wax, so it was quite the adventure to get the two pillar candles into the clear wax, but it worked. Also, cool to a hard wax, it's more like silicone, bendy soft. Also, you have to use technique to get out the bubbles, something I didn't happen to have the right equipment for, but all and all, I can't wait to experiment further with this, it was lots of fun, and the candle was exactly what she imagined.

This was the first time I used this type of product and it was extremely easy to use. Melting was perfect. I'd definitely use this product again when creating my candles.

Candle making, pours easily

I've watched 100s of videos on how to use gel wax. In the videos it seems really simple for people to melt down their wax and literally make it look like water consistency. This wax did NOT do that. It stayed clumpy and very very thick. As soon as I took it out from the heat source it started to harden again. I added my fragrance oil and it did not mix well AT ALL. I guess I will be going to Michael's to buy makers mark brand, that seems to be the general consensus amongst gel wax users. The color of the wax is still clear but when I put in my fragrance, it turned cloudy. It's a good value for the size but I wouldn't purchase this brand again.

I got these since I got into candle making and wanted to make candy/dessert themed candles (mostly gummy bears). I have to be truthful, it holds the scents and colors extremely well which I like.Only downside is the melting point is extremely difficult to get to so you have to wait a while to melt the wax. But when burning in a candle, it does burn pretty well!Overall, it’s a decent product!

The gel wax needs to be melted-no directions as to how to melt it or to what melting temperature do you get to.

I made super cute iced coffee candles with this jelly wax. they turned out perfect. i will buy more!!!

This takes far too long to melt. Stood for over an our trying to melt 50g, funny smell of it too when u add ur fragrance oil

Im Wasserbad ließ es sich nicht schmelzen, habe es dann laut einer Rezension hier direkt in einem kleinem Topf auf einer Induktionsplatte bei 80 Grad geschmolzen und das hat super funktioniert. Dann eingefärbt und Duft hinzu gefügt. Die Luftblasen kann man ganz leicht mit einem Creme Brulee Brenner entfernen: eine Millisekunde draufhalten und weg sind sie, natürlich bitte aufpassen!Habe ein Herz gegossen und 2 Stunden später einfach ein Loch durchgestochen und einen Docht durchgezogen. Hat perfekt funktioniert.
