Not good for thin layer cakes
These are obviously fantastic tins, hard anodised and really sturdy. Unfortunately they have a ridge around the inside at the bottom, because of the springform mechanism. They would be perfect for most baking but I needed tins for thin layer cakes where the ridge would really show, so I ended up returning them in favour of cheap loose-bottom tins from Asda.

These are weighty tins, so the chances of them warping in the oven, freezer or dishwasher are negligible, provided you treat them with respect.They produce cakes and pies that bake evenly. They are easy to clean. The weak point will likely be the springform clasp, but if you are careful there should be no issues.I was so happy with the first one I bought that I bought a second. That's a pretty obvious endorsement.
