I recently purchased the APRILSOUL 4x4 Pergola Kit, and overall, I'm quite pleased with it. Let's start with the positives: the materials are top-notch. The wood is sturdy and has a nice finish, giving the pergola a premium look once assembled. The corner brackets and post bases are robust and ensure a secure structure.However, the assembly process wasn't as smooth as I had hoped. While the instructions were clear for the most part, I did encounter some confusion with the placement of certain pieces. It took a bit of trial and error to get everything in the right position, which was a bit frustrating at times.Once assembled though, the pergola looks fantastic in my backyard. It adds a touch of elegance and provides a perfect spot for outdoor gatherings or simply enjoying a quiet moment outdoors. Despite the minor challenges during assembly, I'm confident that this pergola will stand the test of time and become a beloved feature of my outdoor space.

These things will last forever. They are super heavy duty and make for a sturdy structure. I found it simple to install with 4x4s, with a lightweight roof it made a nice carport but can still be used as a dining structure.It is pricey but good quality.

This is one heavy duty pergola hardware set! The hardware is very solid made and the way it's made ensures me that it will last a very long time. Price is definitely right for this set!

These brackets make building the pergola or gazebo of your dreams a breeze! They're very heavy duty with solid welds and pre-drilled holes for securing your 4x4s in place. All you need are these brackets and footers, eight 4x4s of your chosen HxWxL and a place to set it up. I've built pergolas without these in the past but never again!

I am building an 8x16 foot Pergola, height of 8 feet. This item makes the building process easy and good looking.With these two pieces (and 4 other corner pieces), all I had to do is buy 13 4x4 posts from my local hardware store. No sawing or measuring required. The included screws need to be installed, but that's it. The screws even came with a handy magnetic drill bit - I really like the magnetic feature.Note: This will get you to the point of having a basic Pergola structure. You will likely want to add a shade cloth, stain/paint the wood (I stained with a cedar color) and will need a way to secure the Pergola to the ground. I am currently waiting for post bases myself, to finish the install.The brackets are thick and heavy duty, and really look good with the wood posts. They are very reasonably priced for the quality. Highly recommend!
