I was searching for the pefect hooks and I found them!
These are the perfect hooks. They are lightweight and ultrasmooth. They have the perfect shaped point to aid with accuracy and the hook itself is just the right depth to accommodate the yarns I use. Best of all, they are fairly heat neutral. They are never cold, but they don't really heat too much in my hand either (unlike metal hooks which eventually get sweaty and then stop sliding over the yarn properly). They are worth every penny. The case they come in is also great. Two pockets are large enough to accommodate a small pair of embroidery scissors, yarn needles, and a bunch of counting markers. Highly recommend. It's a great set with a five year manufacturer defect warranty. I plan on having this set for a long long time.

Beautiful, smoothe and create even stitches!!
I LOVE these crochet hooks! So smoothe, great pointed tip-easy to get into your stitches. The sizes are easy to read and located on the end of each hook where they aren't easily rubbed/worn off. These hooks would be great for anyone who loves to crochet with in-line crochet hooks (furls and susan bates style). There is no indent for your thumb but that isn't important to me or a deal breaker. These hooks are beautiful, pleasant to hold and come in a storage case. I have found that putting a pencil grip on these is great if you do prefer the indent for your thumb to help get a better grip. Yes they are $100.00 but you are getting 10 hooks as well as a case. Some of my furls hooks (and I like these just as much), are $50-$120 each!!! So when you figure these are only $10 each and you have an entire set, I don't think it's unreasonable. I think they are totally worth it. I have pretty much tried every crochet hook out there and these are in the top 3.1. Furls $$$$2. Lykke driftwood hook $$$3. Knitters Pride Symphonie Wood Hooks $$But I honestly love them just as much as my furls and they are FAR less expensive.

Nice needles, but the case stinks to high heaven
I have crocheted since I was eight years old, so for 30 years now. I have traditionally used aluminum crochet hooks. In the past year, I developed an ulnar nerve disorder and had surgery to reroute the nerve. I also had to have part of my ulna removed. The surgery was on my dominant hand. I found that crocheting with the aluminum hooks was bothersome for my condition, but I could knit with less hand fatigue and pain.Pros:These needles were recommended to me based on their smoothness. I do prefer a smooth knitting needle, and these hooks are as smooth as my stainless steel needles. I like that the shaft is smooth. The bottom of the shaft has a black knob with the size in US and metric written on it. The case has elasticized loops to hold each hook. The flap for the hooks secures to the back of the case with hook and loop tape (which in my experience, wears out after a while). There is an interior pocket with a snap closure for small notions. The case folds shut and snaps closed.Cons: The tips have a weird pointy pyramid on top. The needle case is stinky. Like, it is really stinky. Super smelly.

Beautiful set to own.
The hooks are driftwood nice and smooth to the touch. They are top rated I definitely recommend them. You will be pleased with the set. The yarn glides easily. The case is sturdy with an extra pocket, not too big to carry in a small tote or purse. Awesome gift to any crocheter!

These are the best crochet hooks ever! And I have tried them all!
I love the pointed heads, deep in-line throat, and no-thumb handle. And they are indeed beautiful to look at! The no-thumb makes them useful not only for basic crochet but also for learning Tunisian crochet and for joining a circle of many stitches by being able to put the beginning tail on the back side of the hook. I LOVE THEM!

Pretty but not functional enough
I've started trying out wooden crochet hooks recently. So I just had to try these.Likes -Nice driftwood grey colorHook size on endDislikes -No thumb indent. It's a perfectly round shaft. I found it awkward to use after eons of using hooks with thumb indents.Expensive.As a side note, my favorite wooden hooks so far are the Knitters Pride Symfonie line and the Lantern Moon rosewood hooks.

Five Stars
Love the design of these hooks. They have a slightly pointed hook that makes for easier insertion into yarn.
