It doesn't last long.
I've got large numbers of greenfinches and goldfinches, and I'm buying sunflower hearts half a hundredweight at a time, and that amount lasts me about six weeks ...... I don't for one minute begrudge it, and it's keeping a whole breeding population going locally ...... Fully recommended ......
