Soundcore H30i Wireless On-Ear Headphones, Foldable Design, Pure Bass, 70H Playtime, Bluetooth 5.3, Lightweight and Comfortable, App Connectivity, Multipoint Connection

I bought a set of these right before Christmas and wanted to wear the for a while before any review. It has been over two months now and I can say that these are the best headphones for the gym or outside work that you can get for the price. Ok, they might not sound like a 300-dollar set of Bose but I will never wear a pair of those headphones to the gym that cost that much. These run about 30 bucks. These on the ear headphones are the best that I have found to suit most all needs. It comes with an app and it includes a small Equalizer (bass, midrange and treble). They do have bass but can get mudded if you increase the bass too much. That is sort of standard with and EQ. I have found that they sound very good for the cost that I paid for them. I have read some reviews talking about ANC. Please note that these are not ANC headphones. But the quality that was put in to build these makes it seem like they are ANC’s. Not much noise gets in even with the sound muted. One issue that I have noted is that if you are over about five feet seven inches tall, they start to hurt the ears a little. I am at five foot seven and they fit me like a glove. Not like buying socks that fit size 6 through size 12. That is a problem. I spend my first two hours at the gym on the treadmill and have never had an issue with them slipping from where I have placed them. The only issue is that the sweat will form on the earpads and inside of the pads. That problem is easily fixed by just placing a wash cloth between the headphones and you ear for about 30 seconds or so. The only fault that I have with them is the forward and back buttons. They do not have a high profile and it makes it hard to find the fast forward or go reverse. Guess I just should practice more with them. The company says that the battery will last about 70 hours. They do last me almost all week and that is not 70 hours at the gym. The reason would be is that I always have them cranked up loud. I am sure that they are not tested at such a loud volume, so that is to be expected. I also bought a pair of beats that were also on sell through amazon and they are now are from the fruit company that sells phones. These Soundcore H30i’s completely blew them away and the fit is much better. I just wish that they had more colors other than the white, black and off red. Thay are built to last and I have an issue with destroying headphones from rough usage. These babies are going strong and no defects have been noted. Conclusion: If you want a great pair of on the ear headphones, look no further than these on the ear headphones. You will not be let down from these.

Sound- 8/10 Not perfect yet soooo good especially considering the price point. A little bit more noticable idle noise than more expensive headphones. Heavy on the bass and lacks sparkle by default. Get the Soundcore app, you can balance it out nicely with a custom EQ, or the "Lounge" preset does a pretty good job. But even without custom settings, you simply can't beat these for 20 bucks. Especially if you like to hear the full spectrum of bass, straight down to 20hz. These can go very loud as well. Fit/Comfort - 8/10 Depending on how you set them on your ears can impact the perceieved sound, this is just a general disadvantage of on ear headphones. These clamp down comfortably and do a great job blocking out backround noise passively. They're pretty lightweight so easy to walk around with. Might be a bit too loose for more intense workouts, though. Build quality - 10/10 At 20 bucks these are very nice. Lightweight but sturdy build. They fold up nicely for travel or storage as well. Features/functions - 10/10 App with a 9 band customizable EQ, Multipoint pairing, Wireless and wired input options (Aux cable included), Folds up nicely, Seemingly endless battery life, All for 20 bucks!? YES PLEASE!!!

I purchased these February 19, 2024. I haven't used these a lot. But, I have recently started using these for about 6 hours, 4 days a week at work. I felt like these were pretty well-made and sturdy for the price, when I first got them in. They are alittle more snug then I actually like. I'm not sure if they're just snug headphones or because I wear them over glasses. I pretty much was just using these as a spare pair in the event that I forgot to charge my Soundcore Life Q30 Over Ear Headphones. Since I have started wearing these steadily for about the last week, maybe 2 wks, I have had to tape the plastic pc that holds the right ear pad. This has been a problem in the past with a lot of my Soundcore Headphones, and that's why I was thrilled when I started shopping for new headphones and noticed that they had made some much needed improvements with the Soundcore Life Q30's. I'm hoping that that will no longer be an issue in the future, provided I purchase more. The Soundcore Life Q30 Headphones are really my favorite headphones so far. I have a lot of external noise that I deal with from surrounding apartments, and they really are the best noise cancelling headphones that I have tried so far. So, in comparison, if you are looking for a very inexpensive pair of lightweight headphones and you need them to be more of a snug fit and don't really need them to keep out a lot of surrounding noise, these may be the headphones for you. If you prefer on ear headphones that may be alittle weightier and not as snug with VERY good noise-cancelling, as well as transparency mode, then you may want to give the Soundcore Life Q 30 headphones a try. Anker runs very good deals on all of their headphones periodically. They offer very good color choices, also. I have been a fan of Anker Soundcore headphones ever since I have started using headphones. They are awesome!

Update Dec5,2024: I read my original review and solidly agree with what I wrote, and the primary purpose of having medium sized headphones with 40mm full-size headphones drivers that fit (along with the PG RIFF interface) in a the guitar case I travel with most often, still accomplishes that goal. One of the reasons I zoned in on these were simply the 40mm drivers, my primary guitars are 7string tuned to DropG#, and what I noticed with other headphones (without naming poor performers), is that at the sync moment of particular passages of Two 7 strings, a 5string bass and KickDrum all hitting at the same, with fast passages following, that most headphones simply cannot keep up at and fall apart into all sorts of driver distortions… These headphones are able to keep up for the most part at reasonable playback volumes. How do they compare to my reference headphones for tracking, mixing and production work? I would say that I continue to be surprised by these H30i’s and that they can get to 95% of my reference set for less than 1/20th of the cost. Negatives? The ear pads are very very synthetic vinyl or whatever it is. They are not soft, and if they didn’t have a strong clamping force, they would certainly leak. I will have to get some replacement ear pads with cooling gel at some point… Original review within a couple of weeks: I needed a set of ON-EAR Headphones to use/setup as quickly as possible while traveling AND that would FIT in a specific guitar case along with a PositiveGrid RIFF Interface to use with iPhone or iPad. They also needed to be Inexpensive AND have oversized drivers for their size AND have an Analog 3.5mm input to connect to a headphone port on a iOS Bus-Powered D/A Interface (the RIFF) AND finally, they needed to sound like I'm using full-size (Over-Ear) headphones. Open Guitar case, plug in RIFF to iPhone, plug in headphones and put on, plug in guitar, Open the BiasFX2 App... in less than 30seconds I'm Jamming. So, my expectations were pretty high for a $30 product. These H30i's have massive 40mm drivers (a size that is in Most Large Over-Ear Headphones) and certainly deliver Bass in Bluetooth mode... In fact, using the Soundcore App they can deliver bass well beyond anything reasonable LOL. Using the Analog Wired mode they are surprisingly flat, which I certainly didn't expect at $30 and reproduce all my BiasFX2 guitar tones effortlessly (and almost as accurately as most of my full size Studio Headphones). I did use the app and sound via the BT connection on iPhone. Without any EQ compensation or profiling, they seem to have a spike around 70Hz and strangely around 8Khz, which is likely on purpose based on how people listen to modern music. I noticed some folks didn't like the clamping force, which right out of the box may be a bit annoying, however bending them open definitely reduces some of that and makes them more comfortable. I have Not tested them using the BT+App with guitar-->RIFF--->BT---H30i as I already am connected via a guitar cable and I assume the additional Latency would not be acceptable to my style of playing. I will test it though and add to this review. Cons? at $30 there have to be compromises... lets see what happens over time

I collect headphones, or as some might say, I'm a headphone hobbyist. In my collection are HiFiMan, Sennheiser, and AKG high-end headphones. I always used a set of buds for knocking around, walking the dog, and talking on the phone. My last two pairs were from Soundcore, including Liberty Pro 3s which I paid over $100 for. They were okay, but despite trying many different tips, they would fall out of my ear, not provide a good seal, I'd accidentally hang-up on folks by pushing a bud back into my ear or eventually get clogged with earwax. This time when it came time to replace my buds I thought I'd try something different. Despite my bad experiences with buds, I've always appreciated the value, sound, and features of Soundcore products. Because I have no use for gimmicks like noise-canceling, etc., I looked through the line-up to see which set of Soundcore cans had none of those useless (to me) features and found these for $25-ish. As far as price-to-quality ratio, these are easily the best headphones I've ever owned. The microphone is stellar (it sounds as good as most podcasts I listen to, even better than some), the sound for listening to calls or podcasts is great, and to my surprise, music sounds better than virtually any bud I've ever owned. And even music sounds great, which was not even my main usage for these. Do they have as flat and detailed of a response as my best, open-back headphones...? Of course not. They have a bit of boost in the bass, like many less expensive earphones. However, even this can be adjusted with the EQ in the free SoundCore app. Much to my surprise, given that they don't even cover the entire ear, wearing them even without anything playing seems to block out about 85% of outside noise. I will say, they fit very snugly, some might even say tight. My head must be on the smaller side, because I rarely have to extend headphones beyond the smallest size, and still they are VERY snug. I doesn't bother me, but they might become uncomfortable after an hour or two. However, I don't use these for long listening sessions... I have many, much better wired headphones for that. These are the best Bluetooth headphones I've ever had, including my first pair ever, my now long-gone $300 Sony MDR-1R. For $25! For that money, I was expecting something with good utility for my purposes. What I got was a really fun pair of cans.

Worked well

Sometimes you take a gamble based on reviews. Here is my honest assetment as I'm returning them. Pros:- -Just a bit of sound leekage. - Connects quickly. - Great sound, if you like heavy bass. - Not to heavy on the head or ears. - The app is very intutive. - Impressed with the battery life. Cons- - Too small for me. I'm an average headeded guy. - The sync between two devices is troublesome. - The noise cancellation featue is non-existant. - If you are going from these head phones to another buluetooh device, in my case the car, it won't give latteral permission to the make transfer. You have to unpair the headphones and re-pair the new device. If they had fit, for the mony, I may have kept them.

Anker always comes through with excellent products that hit the sweet spot on price without compromises in features. The H30i has an awesome battery life that's taken me multiple days to totally run through. The microphone quality is great for phone calls and I never have issues with clarity. Audio quality is great, bass is great. The buttons are just what you need and nothing unnecessary yet give a satisfying and responsive click. The H30i's USB-C port is great and let's you get rid of your outdated USB Micro-B cables. The earcups have the ability to swivel and spin together with an adjustable band for improved comfort. The design is professional yet elegant. The H30i even supports a headphone jack. Unfortunately, the H30i's internal microphone does not work while wired, but you can buy an aux cable with an inline microphone to use the H30i as a proper headset even while wired. Absolutely get this if you're looking for full-sized headphones, don't want to break the bank and not concerned about active noise cancellation.

Hallo: Und noch mal ein Update: :-) Ich habe mich an Soundcore gewendet und die haben mir ohne Probleme und sofort Ersatz für meinen Kopfhörer geschickt. Das ist natürlich ein SUPER Service und damit hat das Teil wieder 5 Sterne. Hallo nochmal: ich hätte hier dann och ein Update nach 18 Monaten Benutzung: Ja, ich habe einen dicken Kopf, aber das rechtfertigt mmn NICHT das auf beiden Seiten (1) die Halterung gebrochen ist. (Siehe Fotos) Das ist eindeutig Materialermüdung und darf eigentlich NICHT (so früh) vorkommen. Schade. Abzug für einen ansonsten immer noch guten Kophörer Was Kopfhörer angeht bin ich als Videospieler, Seriengucker, Musikfan, Hundebesitzer, Fitness Studio Nutzer und Podcasthörer wohl ein Poweruser. Dementprechend nutze ich für verschiedene Gelegenheiten und Einsatzszenarien verschiedene Geräte. Fürs Gym, auf dem Fahrrad im Sommer und ungestörten TV Genuss habe ich die letzten Jahre gerne den JBL 500 bzw 510 BT genutzt. Dieser Kopfhörer ist robust, faltbar hat gute bässe, kostet nicht die Welt und hat eine lange Akkulaufzeit. JBL hat da ein richtig gutes Produkt - keine Frage. Nun bin ich diese Woche bei Amazon auf ein ganz neues Produkt von Soundcore in genau dieser Kategorie gestossen - da der Preis gerade reduziert war und der q30 im Wohnzimmer und auf Reisen mein absolutes to go device ist, hab ich mir gedacht, was solls, teste ich mal an. Und WOW, das habe ja mal sowas von nicht bereut. Aber der Reihe nach.... Ich gehe jetzt mal alle für mich relevanten Punkte eines Kopfhörer aufsteigend nach wichtigkeit durch und nehme den jbl 500 als Vergleich wenns passt. Versand: Wie immer top, war am nächsten Tag da Verpackung: zweckmässig und reduziert, so muss es sein In der packung: das unvermeidliche usb-c kabel und ein klinkenkabel, DENN der H30i bietet tatsächlich wie seine teureren soundcore Brüder die Möglichkeit des Anschlusses über Klinke an die Stereoanlage oder den 80er Jahre Walkman. JBL hat das nicht - ich brauche das auch nicht und kann mir auch nur wenige Anwendungsfälle vorstellen, aber erwähnt werden soll es hier. Batterielaufzeit: ist tatsächlich lang: realistisch, wenn mal mit Bass Boost und hoher Lautstärke hört 40 Stunden - das ist ein sehr guter Wert, circa 30% mehr als JBL. Es gibt wohl auch eine Möglichkeit der schnellaufladung - das nutze ich nicht aber besser haben als brauchen. Gesprächsquälität: ja - funktioniert. Meine Freundin hat mich gut und laut verstanden und ich sie ebenfalls. Aber das sollte heute ja auch Standard sein. Verarbeitung und Qualitätsanmutung: Überraschend gut! die verwendeten Kunststoffe wirken stabil, und der "Bügel" ist -im gegensatz zum JBL aus Metall. Keine komischen gerüche und alle Materialien sind angenehm auf der Haut Design: Ich mag das Soundcore Kopfhörer design - der H30i kann seine Herkunft aus des Anker Stall nicht verleugnen und das ist gut, wie ich finde. Tragekomfort: Alles gepolstert, auch an der oberen Seite und ein zumindest für meinen dickschädel überraschend strammer sitz - gut für Sport und ein aktive Benutzung. Dadurch -und durch die soundcore typischen recht dicken Polster sind die Headphones etwas wärmer als die JBL , aber immer noch sporttauglich - auch im höheren Puls - und dadurch schwitzbereich. Und zum guten Schluss: der sound. Es steht schon auf der Packung - das Teil ist Basslastig. Was ja auch konsequent ist: Das Teil ist fürs Gym gebaut und im Gym kommt es nicht auf komplexe Auflösung der Musikstruktur eines Free Jazz Albums an, hier brauchen wir Motivation und das heisst "Bass muss Drücken im Gesicht" - und genau hier liefert der Soundcore voll ab. Wenn man dann zusätzlich per Soundcore App den Eqalizer auf Bass Boost stellt und den Power Taste 3 mal drückt (was den extra bass modus aktiviert) dann können die 40 MM driver einen Bass erzuigen der im Fitti die "extra Meile" ermöglicht und die Ohren wackeln lässt. Mit natürlicher Musikwiedergabe hat das dann nichts mehr zu tun, aber das will man zu diesem Zeitpukt ja auch gar nicht. Hier kommen die JBL ebenfalls der basslastig bei Weitem nicht mit. Es werden zwar nicht die Bässe eines (waffenscheinpflichtigen und schweren) Skullcandy Crusher erreicht, aber wir reden hier von einem <40 Euro Gerät. Und in Anbetracht dieser Tatsache fällt mir beim Sound nur eine Beschreibung ein: "jou, das drückt" (ich müsst das jetzt mit einem leichten, rythmischem Kopnicken visualisieren). Alles ist allem kann man sagen: Der König (JBL) ist tot, es lebe der H30i, der in fast jeder Beziehung das bessere Produkt zu sein scheint.
