Useful oil additive for cars
Happy to try this LIQUI MOLY oil saver because I mainly use my car for long drives and town errands. it’s a handy product that seems to help keep my engine running smoothly. i noticed a slight improvement in engine noise and smoother idling after using it. however, the bottle is a bit small for regular use and could be more cost-effective. still, it works well when added during oil changes, especially in the middle of a busy week when I don’t want any engine worries on my commute. overall, a decent product for a quick boost, but not a replace for regular oil maintenance.

2011 BMW 328i
About 80K on my 2011 BMW 328i convertible. I was getting the typical valve cover oil leak: smoking from the engine compartment and burning oil smell (from dripping onto exhaust) upon starting in the morning, and intermittently while driving. Added the Liqui Moly Oil Saver and drove normally. After about 3 weeks and over 500 miles it did not seem to be doing much for the oil leakage, but the car ran more smoothly and I noticed the oil temperature (by the dashboard gauge) was running lower than before. Then after a subsequent 250 mile round trip the leakage stopped completely. No more seepage, oil fumes, or burning smell. I was really surprised, as I was expecting to have to replace the valve cover gasket and possibly the entire valve cover which is an expensive job. My advice is to be patient with this; it does work, but you need to give it time. As stated it took about 800 miles to work for me. I would recommend taking a fairly long highway trip if possible after a bit because that seemed to make the difference in my car.

Good product , don’t confuse it with moly though
Good product , but this is not the liquid moly , it conditions your oil to slow blow by and revive older engines that use oil. However these are quality products

Stopped Major Oil Leaks in My 1990 Ford Ranger
I have a Ford Ranger that I bought new in 1990, and it has recently been suffering from multiple oil leaks. It was leaking oil from five different spots, always the same pattern no matter where I parked. The biggest leak was coming from the oil pan gasket, a problem that plagued many early Ranger owners. I don't know where the other four were coming from, and my mechanic couldn't pinpoint them either. I've been running 5W-30 high mileage oil in this truck, which I know has a low viscocity and undoubtedly contributes to the problem because it's so thin. I came across Liqui Moly Oil Saver here on Amazon and decided to give it a try. I added a full can following my last oil change, and the results have been amazing. I have only driven the truck about 100 miles since adding the Liqui Moly, and my leaks have all but disappeared. When I got home yesterday afternoon, I parked in the garage and put a strip of paper towels underneath the truck to catch any leaks. This morning I checked, and found three single drops of oil in three different places. Before the Liqui Moly, those paper towels would have been soaked. If it can reduce the leaks like that with only 100 miles of driving, I have no doubt it will get even better over time. From everything I've read this oil saver is not harmful to the engine in any way, which is what I would expect from a quality German-made product. My oil does not look any different in color, but I can tell it's a little thicker than it was before adding the Liqui Moly. So far I am amazed by the results I have seen, and I would highly recommend this product if your older vehicle is suffering from oil leaks.

Review starting at day one..
First I'll preface this by saying that I'm starting the rating of this at 3 stars not because I don't like it, but because I feel it's a good baseline. I am going to update this review over the course of the next few weeks until I do or don't see what I think is the end result after operating my Jeep for the suggested amount of time by Liqui Moly's instructions. I've used a couple other Liqui Moly products in the past like their gas additives and valve cleaners all with decent results. So trying this Engine Oil Saver to possibly save me a hefty repair bill in the short term seems like a no brainer. I have a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.6L with around 140k on it. It is a very well cared for jeep and always garaged. In the last week or so I've been smelling some burning oil and a little smoke coming off the exhaust manifold into the cabin which of course stinks. It has not allowed me to run my heater and fans so time for a fix. Took it to my mechanic and he's pretty sure the valve cover gasket is leaking on to it causing the smoke. There is also a possible oil cooler leak inside (common Jeep GC problem) which brings up the repairs cost significantly. I also have had a very slow leak around the front engine seal next to the alternator for a while now. I'm not concerned about that one but hoping this stuff might just bandaid that too. Both of my known leaks seem very slow and do not make it to the garage floor, yet. While no mechanic is going to recommend an additive like Liqui Moly for obvious reasons, I told him I may try it as a temporary solution until I got some money together for a proper repair. I went ahead and asked if it would damage anything. He quickly said, no, and admitted to using similar products on his vehicles in the past between repairs. So that brings me to yesterday. I had just recently changed my oil so aside from having to drain out a little to use this Liqui Moly Engine Oil Saver, it's as easy as just pouring it in. I topped off my oil afterwords to right in the middle of the "safe" zone on the dipstick and immediately went for a drive for roughly 1 hour. That's all the time I had and did not expect miraculous early results but checked under the hood right when I got back. Still smoking but no surprise there. Liqui Moly recommends at least a couple hundred miles to see results. For my leak being the valve cover gasket which is right at the top of where oil circulates, I expect it will take time to get up there and work itself into the gasket if its going to work at all. This review will be updated about every 100 miles of driving which for me is about once per. Bottom line is, if you plan on keeping your leaky vehicle and can afford a proper repair, just get it done asap. I feel regardless of the results with this Engine Oil Saver it is never intended as a permanent solution. When money is tight, and when isn't it, these products are potentially a good stop gap. Guess I'll find out!

Liqui moly oil additive works well
Wanted something to keep my car running smoothly during long road trips. i’ve used this small bottle a few times now, and it seems to help the engine stay quieter and run more efficiently. it’s handy for topping off at gas stations or during routine oil changes. glad i found a product that’s simple to use and seems to do the job. definitely recommending it to friends who want to keep their engines in good shape.

Must buy for oil leaks through rubber parts
I had a oil leak through intake valve rubber seal. I pour this at new oil change and now my 8 years old honda city diesel with 1.60lakh KM car is back to brand new oil setting. It doesn't consume even one drop of oil at all Before this i have to pour 1 ltr of oil at ever 800 to 1000 KM. I drove my honda city for around 4k after this and i am extremely happy. Now i can keep my car for next 4 years. Note : This product only recondition the rubber parts only. If you have oil leaks from piston ring and rather then rubber parts. THIS PRODUCT WILL NOT WORK.

It serves a specific purpose
I have Saab 9-5 vehicle, and recently I started to notice some oil leak from the engine, which after checking found out that the gasket needs a replacement. I thought of giving it a try and use LM motor oil saver.. It works! No more leak and the gasket seems to seal the engine well (as it slightly affects the size of the rubber).. I believe this has extended the life of the gasket for around 4 to 6 months more. Great product.. I recommend it for such scenario. PS. The engine noise or vibration was not changed in my case, unlike what other reviews mentioned.
