Flushed everything out of the cooling system in my Mustang. Great product.

I added this Liqui Moly radiator cleaner during a coolant flush on an older vehicle. The additive mixes quickly, and after letting the engine run, I could see the old coolant draining out with noticeably more debris than a water flush alone. The bottle is the right size for a single treatment, and the instructions are clear. After flushing and refilling with fresh coolant, the engine temperature held more consistently, especially during longer drives. Minor note: it’s important to run the heater while circulating the cleaner so it reaches the full system — not really a con, just part of the process. For anyone doing DIY coolant maintenance, this helps get a more thorough clean.

I used this after my car developed a radiator failure and had added a radiator stop leak. Before adding this Liqui Moly 2051 Radiator Cleaner, I had replaced the radiator, the upper/lower radiator hoses, the thermostats and the housing. I had also used a water hose to flush as much of the radiator stop leak residue from around the engine block as possible. I added this radiator cleaner and topped the radiator with regular tap water. I then ran the car for a few miles, as opposed to run it at idle, because I need it to test the cooling system for leaks and proper operation. It's difficult for me to say that this product worked, since I had replaced most of the cooling system parts, but I can say that after running the car for over two weeks and after several miles, the antifreeze still appears as cleaned as when it was first added. I wouldn't hesitate to use it again if one of my vehicles would require it.

Using it to flush my cooling system of my 2014 F150 3.5L Ecoboost. I can't really tell if it's working. I can just see that it foams a little when I drain my radiator. My radiator and old orange coolant was not cloudy and there was no slimy, muddy liquid. I'm flushing just to make sure everything is working properly. I'm rinsing 3-4, maybe 5-6 times, or until I'm satisfied all of the cleaner has been drained out. I don't like how I must do my radiator maintenance. My truck has a 16 quart capacity, but you can only drain out 1.5-2 quarts at a time. I just have to keep draining and filling (with distilled water) until I feel it's clear. Then add concentrated coolant. There isn't a radiator cap. Just a coolant degas bottle. It's not hard, just very time consuming as you have to wait until the engine is cool enough to drain it.

i used this stuff an a reasonably clean, always serviced C6 corvette and it got the inside looking like new. After 18 months, I changed the radiator for some resto-mod stuff and when we removed and drained it, it looked like a new radiator inside. Same for the engine block who the engine builder commented on how clean the block was. I remember using extremely toxic radiator cleaners in the 60's that didn't work as well and had to be returned and transported in chemical proof jugs. This stuff shows how R&D works to keep the environment safer and get the job done better. Highly recommended.

It definitely work but you're going to have to get more than one bottle depending on the size of your radiator how deep a cleaning you want to get

It cleans the radiator very well. I used full quantity and flushed with battery distilled water 3 times and radiator was cleaned completely.

Unbelievable product. My neighbour didn't believe in products like this, but when he saw the colour and texture of the old antifreeze, he made a purchase. Very satisfied. Would recommend this product.
