This is my first yoga mat, but not my first time using one. I didn't have a lot to spend on this so I purchased this kit. All in all, it's fine. You know that rubbery weave stuff you buy for kitchen cabinets? Thats what the mat is, just a LITTLE thicker. If you're considering buying this, you're not going to be a yoga mat snob, so for the price it's good. I use it on carpet but if I was going to use it on tile or hardwood I'd buy something thicker.

The mat smelled really strongly of rubber for a while when i bought it. It's also a little bit slippery, you will slip a bit when you're doing downward dog. the strap is a nice cotton and feels nice but also begins showing from wear as a result. the blocks are good quality. for a beginner's set, its pretty good.

This kit was the best priced when I was shopping for the items you get. I was in the market for an extra mat and wanted to get blocks for non-studio use. I use the strap to wrap my mat up, but it is kind of awkward. I don't like carrying it like that. The blocks are light and are of a good height and I've been using them during my non-studio yoga classes (my work offers some).Mat is standard size and is about the same quality as the low end one I got at Target, but should still last a year or two.I also bought a gaiman yoga towel for hot yoga in blue and it matches perfectly.

This yoga matt is a great thickness. It’s a good texture too for gripping while doing yoga. The blocks work great got support. Well made.

The blocks and strap are fine. The mat is not very tacky and I find my feet/hands sliding.

I am new to yoga. I started it because it was suggested by my MS doctor as a way to strengthen muscles and improve my balance. I'm certainly not a study in grace and doubt that I ever will be. The mat, strap and wedges is what is suggested by the gentleman who leads the sessions. This kit has everything in it that I need. It was reasonably priced and fits the bill. Over all, I'm satisfied.

I was looking for a beginners kit to practice yoga at home and in particular nice long belt, like 7-8ft long but 6ft would probably work; The belt in this kit is like 4 or so, more like a pants belt than yoga. The mat is also a bit short but ok i guess for the price... They were managed to make the blocks proper size though, yay!

Received my yoga mat and everything seems to be decent quality. Unfortunately they failed to include the cotton strap and that is why I left a two star review.

It is great for someone starting out, but the quality of the strap is subpar. I did not open the yoga mat or the blocks since I will be returning them but from what I did see the mat is a basic mat and in combination with the two blocks, and the decent strap it is a good price. The blocks are sturdy but they have smaller dimentions than the aver blocks I think. I compared it to mine and although they are a lot stiffer, it is smaller than my smallest.

It was ok for the price. The Mat is extremely thin and it isn’t much different than being on a bare floor but it does help with grip.

I am satisfied with this purchase. A very good starter kit for someone brand new to Yoga.

The blocks are great, buy a mat elsewhere as this one you slide on when you get sweat.
