I've had several other sleep masks, both soft ones (like this) and shaped masks that hold an almost "google" shape. This is by far the best of all of them. The silk is so soft on my face that it's hardly like I'm wearing a mask at all, and the fabric shuts out all light, making the mask extremely effective. I have a dust-mite allergy, and even with regular washing it seemed my other masks irritated my allergy and my eyes would be puffier and itchy when I woke up in the morning. I don't notice that effect with this mask. I know that silk is resistant to microbial growth and I wonder if perhaps it also helps repel dust mites. I love this mask so much that I bought a second one so that I can put one in the wash every week - I don't think they necessarily have to be washed that often, but I have to because of my dust-mite sensitivity - and have another clean one on my bed. Such a great product. I couldn't be happier.

Very soft and gentle on the face, complete coverage. I use these nightly due to sheer blinds and early morning sunlight. The only reason i don't give it 5 stars is that the elastic that goes behind your head wears out, and loses it's elasticity , fairly quickly. But these items are not expensive, so you just buy a couple and have one in reserve.

Became undone and no longer sit's right over eyes

Item is very comfortable but takes awhile to get used to if you never wore one. Takes out the light. Certainly worth a try.

I bought this item for my teenage daughter, she has light sensory issues and she love it, and I love it. First thing she said was mom I can't see a thing and now she sleeps like a baby.

Big and covers your eyes real well.
